Saw an interview with the college student ordered to pay 675k for illegally downloading music. If you've downloaded music from P2P and file-sharing networks (who hasn't?), should you delete your music and cancel your account with the P2P and sharing networks just to be safe? Or is there something I'm missing here? As far as I can tell, these agents are taking random samples from popular song downloads and reporting them to the authorities. That sounds insane. How could they get away with that?
To have an account in a P2p network it means that it is private . Deleting files won't cut it. Use a VPN that isn't hidemyass ( IPredator works fine ) . Check how many times you have broke the law here
