I had never before heard of PoliticalJack forum. (No real surprise there; so many political forums exist that it would be just about impossible to be familiar with most of them.)

But I just now Googled it; and it appears to still be up and running: no links please
In fact, it even shows some posts dated "Today."

Are you sure it is defunct?

For a day,when you clicked on it you got redirected to another forum. It looked like the plug had been pulled.

If my Syrian Flase Flag e-mails were allowed, given I had to post it twice as it was removed the first time, I'm wondering how sensitive something has to be to get shutdown on this site.

Its pretty easy to catch a ban for flaming around here, but outside of that it appears to be anything goes.

Never seen open race conversations without earning immediate bans before(Not sure if this is a good thing yet).

 

it has nothing to do with what is posted. like all of these sites it depends on the relationship the poster has with the particular moderator that gets on his tail.

 

I get this. Got perma banned from a site I had 20,000 posts on because a mod got a hard on for me.

While I have some serious questions about a few mods here, and what there agenda is. I have found the mods rather courteous, and willing to explain exactly why things were done here.

Now whether the answer is non-sense about the op not being long enough is a different question, but atleast with a explanation, you can adjust to give them no reasons left to censor.

I am new as well (first post) from the Yahoo! boards. They deleted my favorite basketball board run by Lakerfans (I was a non-Laker but liked the site and posters) and an obscure political board called Lakerboard OT. It was started by Laker fans to debate the Iraqi war back in 2003 and became a hangout of its own. This board looked fairly rational and less obscene than some others. I hope to find a place to share thoughts, concerns, and check in to cyber-reality as well as some sports I am still trying to get my mind around global warming and also enjoy financial discussions. Thanks for having me.

 

It's great you are here,,welcome. We have a endless supply of spirited posters here. All eager to share, discuss and most in a very respectable manner.

The thread did drift somewhat. I was just trying to find friends from another forum that might've migrated here.

It may take newbies a while, but there's a way to post and things you shouldn't post. It's kinda complicated.
