So a bunch of GOP Congressmen storm the closed door impeachment inquiry hearings held by the Dems (BOTH GOP and DEM reps sit on the board of inquiry). Thing is, since Barr wouldn't do his job, the Dems in the House did it for him...and this is all done before the results are turned over to Congress:

One Republican who has been able to attend the proceedings, Rep. Chris Stewart of Utah, acknowledged that the closed-door nature of the impeachment proceedings are consistent with the House’s procedures.

Kind of reminds one of the Brooks Brothers Riot in 2000. Strange how NO ONE went to jail on that.

Republicans who were kept out of Schiff's private hearings in the SCIF stormed the bunker and refused to leave. It's being reported that they ordered homophobic chicken from Chick-fil-A to be brought in.

Trump bum kissers in Congress have been unable to contrive a substantive defense against the compelling, mounting evidence being exposed by consistent, expert testimony.

    Thus, they resort to hooliganism.

Well, when you don't have the facts on your side, you can either admit defeat, or do these kinds of stupid crazy stunts.

Impeachment inquiries are not democracy, and the rules have been applied equally. Only members of the committees, both Democrat and Republican, are allowed in the room. There have been Republicans in these interviews every day they have occurred.

This is not a criminal investigation and the rules are different here. People keep trying to judge this as if they were watching these events on an episode of Law & Order. That's not how this works.

That has never happened in prior impeachment inquiries...they were open adn to the public, largely because the House followed the proper House rules, conducted a vote and sent it to the Committee with proper juriisdiction...the Judiciary

I judge it from watching the Clinton impeachment

None of that are actually required by rules, and common practice does not mean something is the rule. Kind of like how it's common practice that a sitting president can't be indicted, but nowhere is that actually a rule or a law.

Actually read the DOJ memo on the matter...it is based on the rule of law.

Here's the link to the House rules on mpeachment: https://history.house.gov/Institution/Origins-Development/Impeachment/

"ndividual Members of the House can introduce impeachment resolutions like ordinary bills, or the House could initiate proceedings by passing a resolution authorizing an inquiry. The Committee on the Judiciary ordinarily has jurisdiction over impeachments, but special committees investigated charges before the Judiciary Committee was created in 1813"

its dueling idiots once again. Republicans are dumb for this stunt imo and Democrats are dumb for not holding this in a more public manner. If all the Republicans have is "its not transparent" why dont Democrats take that card away by making it public? If they truly have the goods the venue shouldnt matter anyhow

Those that stormed the room should have their clearances removed.

This is kind of strange, the impeachment proceedings in general are anti-democratic. This is the house Democrats trying to usurp the people and remove the person they elected.

The Clinton impeachment wasn't about national defense.

Suggesting national defense issues should be made public because Clinton's misbehavior was made public is just plain STUPID!

Trump's quid pro quo was that our ally, Ukraine, would be denied congressionally allocated defense material unless Ukraine's president dug up dirt on Biden.

That IS a national defense issue.

And, the person being deposed by the three committees (with full participation of the Republicans on those committees) discussed issues that are not for public consumption.

LOL brilliant... Demanding transparency and due process is "anti-democratic".... or so decrees the leftist Ministry of Truth.

    Somewhere George Orwell is crying.
