I'm assuming you're an adult and able to support your own statement. The transcript is quite clear.

And the meeting continued with everyone in attendance? Maybe not.

why is Trump hiding his tax returns... there is somethign you can complain about transparancy

as for this, next month this will all be done in public, this is just the initial depositions - those are always done in private, especially when there is concern of witness changing their stories based on what other witnesses have said

next month repubs will whine they are done in public and it's unfair to the President

what I would do if I was dems, I would call the witnesses Trump is obstructing, for PUBLIC testimony, then we he denies them closed or public depositions, attack him for not allowing the public to hear

come on Trump, let the witnesses give depositions, hand over documents, transparency

theyve been talking about Bill Taylors testimony constantly on msm..... my father did bring up the point though that if its public Trump can fight each individual damning event where if its its not public Democrats can hold it all back and drop one huge bomb on Trump. Idk we'll see if polling shows if the public agrees with Republicans process complaints by way of impeachment approval disapproval

This wasn't a protest, it was a violent violation of government business. If a bunch of cops stormed a courtroom while a grand jury was debating what to do with a cop that had killed someone unarmed and innocent, would you be okay with that?

Clinton never testified to the house.

Yes I remember the Benghazi hearing where his wife testified, publicly

Dems whined about "Precedent" when Trump refused to release his tax returns. As far as Democrats were concerned, precedent should've been sufficient to compel Trump to release them.

Well, there's precedent with regards to impeachment, too. Every time it's been done, there's been a vote in the House before the inquiry. But Pelosi won't do that, because she's not at all interested in there being a level playing field.

Why was "precedent" so important to them then, but they seem to have no use for it now?

Oh, the transcript is quite clear....it's your personal interpretation that's cloudy. After all the perfunctory maudlin exchanges, here's the money shot:

Zelenskyy: …. I would also like to thank you for your great support in the area of defense. We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next steps specifically we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.

The President: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike…….Whatever you can do, it's very important that you do it, if that's possible.

You should read information provided before making such a childish attempt at intellectual myopia......the sale completion of the weapons WAS DELAYED BY THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION PRIOR TO THIS PHONE CALL. From the second link:

According to sources familiar with the matter, a separate $10 million sale of ammunition has mysteriously remained in limbo for almost a year with no explanation from the Trump administration.

Telling the truth, using critical thinking in an objective manner, referring to valid, well documented source information doesn't require bravery...just good old common sense and intellectual honesty.

What you and your cohorts have done on this thread and what you support is intellectual cowardice. Don't like the label? Then tell the readers what you consider a valid, well documented source of information that you base your opinions and declarations on. I'll wait.

The date of the article is September 2019, which points to nearly a year in $10 mil of weapons sales. Do the math, and then stop insipidly stubborn and concede the point.

you need glasses and then stop being willfully ignorant of the facts. Your insipidly stubborn revisionism is absurd in light of all the facts available.

Your first link says they had closed hearings on the heels of Clinton’s public testimony.

Not sure what you are trying to say with the other links, nowhere does it say Clinton testified at his impeachment

I know they aren’t, but can be made public with a court order. Part of Clinton’s was made public because that’s where he commited the crime of perjury

grand jury for Slick Willy was all done behind closed doors BEFORE being made public.
And the OIC is part of Congress

    https://www.nationalmemo.com/yes-president-must-testify-like-bill-clinton/

Whether in person or by video or deposition, Slick Willy gave testimony to Congress behind closed doors before being made public.
