More information trickles out even under the blanket of the media blitz to convince you to take it.

These are not approved by the FDA per the FDA.

It is illegal under Federal law to require any drug for employment or anything else under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

One manufacturer started inoculating their control group ending their trials before they were completed.

Drug companies have legal immunity if their novel treatments cause death or injury.

The % success rate given by pharma is not protection from contracting the virus but % better outcome once infected.

These are all easy facts but things like the numbers in testing and deaths have too many variables to be accurate.

Of course that does not mean this virus isn’t deadly especially for people in their 80s and above or those with one or two morbidities but the majority of Americans have a very high survivability rate.

Since you seem to post this in every vaccine thread, is there any particular reason you felt the need to start a new thread all by itself? Will this at least stop the broken record in other threads?

They did that because the effectiveness of the vaccine was so apparent and they felt they had a duty to innocculate the control group once that data was available.

As they should. If the government is going to encourage a company to do something in the public interest, it's only right to protect them if that results in problems. That doesn't mean injured folks have no recourse, though.

That's true of all vaccines. Anyone who thought otherwise needs to learn how vaccines work. A vaccine isn't a force field that prevents the virus from entering your body, it's just training for your immune system so it isn't caught off guard if you do get it.

Related anecdote: my sister-in-law is on immune-suppressing drugs because she's a kidney transplant recipient. When the pandemic started, she basically couldn't leave the house. Her doctors said her chances of surviving a covid infection were extremely low. She was able to get the vaccine back in March, which enabled her to go back to school in person and see her friends for the last couple months of her senior year. She got to go to prom... where they had a big covid outbreak, which she got. But instead of being hospitalized, she just had some cold/flu symptoms: feeling run down, mid-grade fever, and a cough. Those symptoms went away after about a week. The rest of her family (four sisters and her parents) developed zero symptoms. My 10 and 12-year old kids, who had spent a couple hours the day after that prom playing board games with her, tested negative for covid a couple days after she was diagnosed. The vaccine appears to have given her back her senior year of high school, saved her life when she did get covid, and prevented her from passing it to anyone else.

    Anecdotal stories are not facts.

Duh. Sometimes it's nice to balance pessimism with a little positivity.

Appeals to emotions are one of the most useful tools in hiding from the truth.

I have been observing it for years here at PF. You seem to be a skilled practitioner of the art.
