A federal judge in New York on Tuesday ordered Iran to pay billions of dollars to parents, spouses, siblings and children of more than 1,000 9/11 victims, court documents obtained by ABC News show. The default judgment issued by Judge George B. Daniels finds the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran are liable for the deaths of 1,008 people whose families sued. Designing structures over 400 meters tall presents certain engineering problems. Getting the distribution of strength and weight correct so it does not collapse under it's own weight and can withstand the wind are significant issues.
