It is pretty much part of the 9/12 "truth movement" that has been debunked three or four times over.

That in the least he was a threat to region but beyond that he had goals to dominate it and control the region and that made him a threat to the world and thus a threat to us. That it was clearly shown he desired to assist terrorist in attacks against western states made him a threat to us.

Both my sons are Marines and both did multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. One received a full medical retirement after 8 years due to sustain injuries. The other retired last November after 28 years, enlisted as a private at 18 and retired a Major at SoCom. The Pentagon just made him a sweet offer as a contractor. So there were times when I flew double blue star flags in my windows. I know very well what the military personnel and the families go through.

Yes, after fully support the use of the military in first war and then again in the second, overwhelmingly supporting, once the Dems saw the advantage the success was giving to Bush they turned and politicized it with the phony claims about WMD and Saddam was really a nice guy who could have just been left alone and Bush LIED!!! It did not serve the country well but then what do they ever do that servers the country rather than their own thirst for power.

Saddam was given EVERY chance to comply with the cease fire conditions. The time came he had to be removed by force.

And was paying off officials at the UN and directly to some countries to get the sanctions removed and inspections ended. We and the coalition could not allow that to happen. The Dems agreed until they saw who the numbers were turning for Bush.

We gave him enough so that Iran could not win. Our position and policies were for a stalemate. It was not in anyone's interest that either side would win and take over the other.

    Goebbels, Pavlov, Skinner...

    Indeed, lessons learned.

Machiavelli, Gramsci, Marx, Stalin, et al. The most cunning was Stalin IMO.

WW II was yesterday in terms of history. But you've learned nothing. History is just useless names and dates.

Because you've learned nothing from the past - you have no idea how you're being deceived today.

    Human nature does not change.

I'm quite aware of how we're being deceived today. We're being sucked into a world where we waste our national treasure in places that have no real value to us (Ukraine) so that elites may grow their personal fortunes (Hunter B.), where we cuddle up to real enemies that will take advantage of our demonstrated weakness (China) to grow the personal fortunes of elites (Biden's) even more, and we'll even gift terrorists who want us dead with the means to kill us (Taliban) in order to keep the chaos that feeds the elites coming. Intranational wars that advanced the goals of nations has been replaced with international conflicts that advance the goals of globalists.

Your sticking point with what I'm saying seems to be that you can't fathom that the globalists would be engaged in using deception against the American people??

Who do view as being "the globalists"??

How do you define and differentiate someone being a "globalist"??

What are the objectives and goals of the globalists??

WMD Weapons Inspector: Bush, Blair Should Have Faced Charges for Iraq War Crimes.

'George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and the entire cast of the neo-conservative Project for the New American Century, the intellectual justification for American imperialism and nation-building abroad, remain blissfully free from incarceration.'

'The PNAC agenda — to establish Pax Americana across the globe, resulted in thousands of American deaths, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilian deaths, and a failed state that facilitated the rise of ISIS. It did not strengthen or enrich any Americans or American enterprises, save for weapons contractors like Halliburton (not coincidentally Dick Cheney’s former employer).'

'The decades of civil war unleashed on Iraq after Hussein was deposed turned entire cities into rubble, and for what benefit?'

'Yet, two decades later, George W. Bush and Co. remain curiously well-received in corporate media, never pressed to account for their destruction.'

'Dick Cheney’s daughter, in fact, maintains her perch atop the GOP despite her flagrant unpopularity with the base. Prior to her defeat in the 2022 midterms, she suffered from a 72% disapproval rating in her own deeply Republican Wyoming district. No normal American likes her outside of the #Resistance DC liberal class. Yet, fueled by donor class support, she apparently suffers from the delusion that she will become president in 2024.'

'One man, former UN weapons inspector Han Blix, has not forgotten Liz Cheney’s father’s crimes in the Middle East.'

And, the Swamp and the Lying Fake News Media seems to be on very good terms with all of the folks that did this.

We gave them enough because we didn't trust them all the way. And we pretty much used Saddam in our proxy war with Iran. Russia, or USSR, sold weapons and intel to both sides while trying to maintain a "neutral" position. Neither side still cannot figure that out.

    We live in Orwellian times...

For my money, I've seen enough evidence to say that Cheney was one of the principle architects of 9/11, or at least an active player.

I think Dov Zakheim was probably in charge operationally, but it would make sense that he would be answering to higher ups like Cheney.

I don't think Bush was involved, perhaps not even aware, of what was going on. He was really nothing more than a frontman.

I don't agree with Webster Tarpley on much of anything, but I think his views on how false flag operations work is correct.

Pretty much all of the useful documentaries that run evidence to ground have been scrubbed from the internet, as you might expect. The only useful documentary I could find recently was, 9/11: The New Pearl Harbor, which is a good documentary, but doesn't dig into who and how.

We didn't trust EITHER side and especially Iran who had held our embassy hostage. We didn't want either side to prevail and books have been written claiming we even gave some intelligent to Iran to make sure Saddam could not invade and take over that country. Our policy was there should be a stalemate and and end to the war with neither side prevailing.

Well when we can get all our adversaries to agree to the same and no one would try to invade anyone else or destroy another country maybe we can.

While clearly stating the imperative need for it. His warning was more to political leaders and the influence such a necessary industry were are compelled to maintain in order to survive could have in government.

Hussein unequivocally had WMDs. The only thing we did not know is his state of developing nuclear WMDs, although every country and every intelligence agency believed he was fast developing them. The Bush administration never claimed Hussein was behind 9/11. Cheney asserted that we knew Hussein (or his administration) had met with Al Queda but that we had no information that connected Saddam to 9/11.

    GWB lied?

    Hillary Clinton:
Obviously, I've thought about that a lot in the months since," she said. "No, I don't regret giving the president authority because at the time it was in the context of weapons of mass destruction, grave threats to the United States, and clearly, Saddam Hussein had been a real problem for the international community for more than a decade."

    John Kerry:
We have evidence, collected by United Nations inspectors during those inspections that Saddam Hussein has permitted them to make, that despite his pledges at the conclusion of the war that no further work would be done in these weapons of mass destruction programs, and that all prior work and weapons that resulted from it would be destroyed, this work has continued illegally and covertly.

And that is why we must take action against this dictator. Regime change has been an American policy under the Clinton administration, and it is the current policy. I support the policy. I think Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction are a threat, and that's why I voted to hold him accountable and to make certain that we disarm him

    Joe Biden
The primary policy is to keep sanctions in place to deny Saddam the billions of dollars that would allow him to really crank up his program, which neither you nor I believe he’s ever going to abandon as long as he’s in place...You and I believe, and many of us believe here, as long as Saddam is at the helm, there is no reasonable prospect you or any other inspector is ever going to be able to guarantee that we have rooted out, root and branch, the entirety of Saddam’s program relative to weapons of mass destruction. You and I both know, and all of us here really know, and it’s a thing we have to face, that the only way, the only way we’re going to get rid of Saddam Hussein is we’re going to end up having to start it alone — start it alone — and it’s going to require guys like you in uniform to be back on foot in the desert taking this son of a — taking Saddam down,...You know it and I know it.”

    ad nauseam

My own view of "globalists" are elites that have power and will maintain power at any cost. They may have been born America or not. But in any case, they have no loyalty to America, just their own poer and the power of their friends. Their goal is to maintain their own power and comfort. Period.

The Iran/Iraq war was another cold war proxy war with Russia. We knew Russia was supplying both sides and that Russia will prefer Iran over Iraq. However, we supplied the Iraqi government in an effort to foster Saudi Arabia and other ME countries to our side because we were still seen as honest brokers, despite our political differences. We knew that if we gave Iraq any type of weapons, the Russians wiould have them instantly because one of Saddem's subordinates would make that happen.

It was feud between those two states neither of which we supported in their efforts to win the conflict. The history didn't matter when it came the the vital necessity of removing Saddam and his regime at the time it was done.

We were quite literally using Iraq to get back at Iran while at the same time, fostering relationships with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and Kuwait. It why we went in there the first AND second time.

I think you're underestimating their lust for power - they're not looking to "maintain" the power they have, they're looking to expand it to absolute, unchallengable, global power.

They already control the global money supply - that's what central banks do; but, I'm not sure to what extent they control all the players.

The oligarchs and rulers in Russia and China may be in debt to the bankers, but at their core they are ruthless gangsters.

Moving away from the dollar makes sense both in terms of weakening the U.S., and giving the bankers more leverage over the oligarchies in Russia and China.

As for national patriotism?? You're right, there is none. Ever read any of David Rockefellers works?? No one was more obsessed with creating a world government than David Rockefeller. Of course creating a world government, would mean the U.S. as a sovereign nation would have to end.

Rockefeller worked his entire life toward the goal of world government.

The US overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran, and subsequently the Iranians rightfully drop kicked out the US with their embassy out their country. And as a response the US sided with Iraq and together THEY started a WMD war against Iran. Your idea the US did this to appease some Saudi's is a joke. The US appeased themselves. Iraq and the US lost that war, and since then there was nothing but endless hostilities towards a liberated Iran.

Yes. GWB lied. He was pulling the strings in the intelligence agencies and cooked up the lies.
    Lies who tricked the Dems.
