Never thought of it like that, but that's what their general function is, right? They are supposed to serve the people, so the POTUS is a customer service agent. The Senate and Congress would be customer service agents. Everything they do is supposed to be in service to the people of the nation. I'm not one of those people who believes that the customer is always right, but I think there should, at least be something more of an open report between government and it's people. How many of us have talked or communicated directly with our President...our Governor...our Mayor...Our Board of Education...our Generals...our Commerce Executives...any Major Business figure...Our City Police Commissioner...anyone? Do these people even know you exist?
