Is it possible to have a civil discussion about racists supporting Trump?

I pragmatically defer to the democratic process, and acknowledge that it functions best when there is an educated electorate.

 

Myself, I think that a candidate being supported by a racist group, like KKK or BLM, doesn't make a candidate bad. Like for me, the proper agenda, the TRUE progressive agenda, is like Bernie Sanders priorities, with a total rejection of IDENTITY POLITICS, meaning policies that help EVERYONE, including middle class white males EQUALLY with ANY OTHER IDENTITY.... no special provisions or giveaways based on identity. So yes, it's conceivable that racists like KKK or BLM could support a candidate and that candidate be righteous and best for the USA.

The neo-nazi Daily Stormer and white supremacist American Freedom Party have publicly endorsed Trump, and I think their reasons for doing so is information that the electorate is better off having.

I am unaware of the KKK and BLM endorsing any candidate, but if either does, it would be worth discussing as well

 

I've supported the American Freedom Party. What's racist about them? Is Democratic support for affirmative action and college entrance set asides displacing white students or white neighborhood block busting not anti-white racism?

I agree with you that it is entirely appropriate to ascertain and assess the motivations of neo-nazis and white supremacists for public endorsing Trump.

When was that? Certainly must have been prior to changing the party nominating process from the smoke filled rooms to the current primary system.

Of course everyone thinks the electorate is educated when their candidate wins but personally I have never seen much evidence of an educated electorate. America occasionally somehow occasionally manages to get an educated candidate but that seems more and more to just be an accident of history.
