The following article looks genuine to me so I am wondering if there is further verification for these rather powerful claims?

I certainly have seen some impressive videos on how successful Ivermectin was in other areas so this does make sense that this would happen when a nation shifts over to this type of policy.

I remember reading some somewhat similar news from India.
