A number of people have been shown that after this lifetime….. they will not have to reincarnate again.

Bruce F. MacDonald Ph. D. is one of the people who also has been shown something along this line.

The book of Isaiah is about the Jewish people. Throughout the Tanakh the Jews are referred to as 'the servant'. And that is who is being referred to in Isaiah. The 4 times 'Gentiles' appears in Isaiah are mistranslations of the Hebrew word for 'nations'.
The promise of Christ quoted by Christians Isaiah 7:14-16 states clearly that the before the boy knows to choose between good and evil THE LAND THAT THOU ABHOREST SHALL LOSE BOTH OF HER KINGS.
Isaiah 9. The son - child given - is Hezekiah. The titles fit into Hezekiahs life if you study it. But its a long study.
Isaiah 53. Remember Israel is 'the servant'.

Passages from the Tanakh interpreted to suit a particular purpose.

    Wow!

A truly brilliant response to this topic.

Did you know that Orthodox Jewish scholar Yair Davidiy presents powerful evidence from history that representatives from the lost tribes of Israel migrated to the British Isles?

That article by Eporu Ronald Alfred that I quoted on page five... post #41...… somewhat reminds me of the tradition of Moshiach ben Ephrayim/ Yosef/ Joseph.

So who do you think got the blessing of owning the gates of their enenies, etc?

    Genesis 22:17
"That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;"

    http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Gen&c=49&t=KJV

    Gen 49:1

And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

    …..Genesis 49:22
Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:
The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren."

What about the idea of some of the lost tribes migrating as far as South America during the time of King Solomon?

If this tradition has some validity…. then you would think that it would be much easier from some groups of them to make it up to Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales and north western Europe?

Quote 'Aramaic is an ancient language which ancient Israelites used and this itself means very old'.

I may be wrong but although Pascha is from Aramaic, I thought the Hebrews used their own form of adapted semetic language and used the term 'Pesach'.

Passover isn't even mentioned in the Tanakh. In fact the word 'passover' didn't even enter the Bible until the 16th century until people began translating Greek and Latin Bibles into English. They used the nearest applicable English word to Greek and Latin words where there was no literal translation.

    Ooops I'm rambling again.

I doubt the Lost Tribes got lost. They probably wandered off, assimilated, intermarried and forgot Judaism.. Israel's resources were scarce and it couldn't support a large population. The Israelis claim that the Pashtun Afghans are the lost tribe of Benjamin.

With all the effort of imagination I can do, I find it difficult to see Netanyahu as a reincarnated King David!

I think that he is a basically competent political leader and is dealing with tremendously difficult issues that would boggle the minds of the greatest intellects on earth…… but …. . you have a good point…… he may not have risen up to full fledged David Consciousness yet.

A time is coming though when the most feeble residents of Jerusalem… will have hit the Davidic level….. and many will have gone much higher than that!

    Zechariah 12:8
"In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them."

Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus worded this same idea differently for his own followers….. but I think that he is talking about the same time period.

    Matthew 11:11
"Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he."

Netanyahu is a very good leader for this context of high tense, sure better than Olmert. And he has got the right attitude and the skills to guide Israel out of this mess. But from this to indicate him as a Davidic figure there is still a certain distance.

Royalty a part [royalty in Israel was a symbol of the past covenant and so today it's not that necessary, in my opinion].

Anyway, I tend to think to the reconstruction of a terrestrial Temple in Jerusalem as a pivotal sign that Davidic figures are coming back among us. Ezekiel 40 - 43 present a very clear prophecy about ...

Two years that jump at me as potentially being significant for the fulfillment of Ezekiel chapters 40 to 48 are 2030 and 2070. 2030 would be more significant to Christians and to Muslims to understand what the Koran teaches about Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus - Issa being the Jewish Messiah.

2070 would be more significant to the Rabbinic Jewish community.

But since Elijah comes along before King David is fully raised up..... even the Rabbinic community might be willing to consider 2030?!

Does the prophecy about Elijah somehow "restoring all things" even include the Jerusalem Third Temple?

"And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not,....
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist." (Matthew 17:10-13)

For 2030 there is a little time, I would say, considering the context of the area and the processes in progress, anyway, it's still possible.

As for I know, the stance of orthodox Jews is to wait for the Messiah to build the third temple, because they are not sure about position and measurements [there are controversy about the real length of the cubit used by the ancient Jewish builders]. Among other troubles, the position of the Temple [the real Temple, the Holy Home, not all the surrounding structures] seems to be a less alive problem: according to some scholars its real position would be between the Golden Dom and Al Aqsa mosque [so that no Muslim place of worshiping should be modified in any way to make room for the Temple].

In any case there is already an official organization which is organizing this: the "מכון המקדש", "Machon HaMikdash" [to know more: https://www.templeinstitute.org/about.htm].

My personal impression is that about this Orthodox Jews can be right, only a great leader of Israel could endorse the project to rebuild a Jewish Temple on the Holy Hill in Jerusalem, dealing with the predictable international problems. This great leader could be the Messiah in the Jewish sense as well [a Davidic figure to go back to our reasoning].

    From Ezekiel 37

This passage clearly says that the Orthodox Jews are right.

The reasoning has been developed and discussed by Talmudic rabbis during the centuries and there is who says that the Temple will come down from the sky, but there is also who sustains [Maimonide] that it will be build by humans.

There is a position of compromise: humans will build the structure, God will make the covenant come down from the sky [the Ark? Will the Ark reappear in the Temple? Eh, this reminds the Book of Revelation ...].

In good substance, the most shared opinion is that the Messiah [Davidic leader of Israel] will build the Bet Hamiqdàsh [the Third Temple] and God will make the spiritual Temple come down on it.

There is even [the Midràsh] a source saying that the doors of the Temple are still there, in the soil of the hill. This would allow the Messiah to find them and to put them in the new Temple [this traditionally would indicate him as the builder, who fixes the doors of the construction].

One relevant question is which Moshiach will build the Temple?

Will it be Moshiach ben Ephrayim..... whose role reminds me of the final Elijah in many ways????

Or will it be Moshiach ben David?

It is intriguing that a group of orphan children in China in 1919 were given vision of the New Jerusalem as it exists apparently already in fifth and sixth and seventh dimensional space - time?!

I am extremely impressed by your replies on this topic AlpinLuke.

In your opinion am I being too optimistic to have high expectations as to where the pronouncement by President Obama's half brother could potentially lead?

Going with Ezekiel, I would prefer the hypothesis that it will be a Ben David [from the House of the Bread, to be clear].

Regarding Malik Obama, eh ... the problem is not there, he's enough smart to have understood that Jerusalem has to become the core of the Abrahamic religions, the problem is who uses Islam at political level [they deny to Jews their right, I would say divine right, to have their Temple there ...].

Be sure that the incoming decades will be really historical. Wait and see.

Yes....... the upcoming decades are going to be astonishing!

A near death experiencer from Uganda has written an article on how Isaiah chapter 45 applies to our time period that I regard as the most insightful that I've ever read on this subject.

It does make sense to me that if Christians and Muslims were to begin to have a higher level of respect for the scriptures of the Jewish people that an outpouring of the Holy Spirit ..... and a decrease in atheism and skepticism.....would be two side effects.

Yes....... I personally do believe that when the full fledged Jewish King David type is raised up....... he will admit to having attained a "Buddah" level of consciousness. He will not be offended by the fact that this is not exactly a Hebrew term......… and he will look to what the term...… truly means!

Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus stated that an age was coming when the least Christian would attain a level of consciousness comparable to John the Baptist ..... or higher...… I have a theory on how I personally may have participated in at least one aspect of "to appease the wrath of the LORD" as predicted in Ecclesiasticus 48, in the Catholic Bible....

    http://www.drbo.org/chapter/26048.htm

"Who art registered in the judgments of times to appease the wrath of the Lord, to reconcile the heart of the father to the son, and to restore the tribes of Jacob."

    ...…
    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...en-angel-return-g-d-divide-kingdom-satan.html

Does a major fallen angel return to G-d and divide the kingdom of Satan and...

    cause it to fall?

but the goat on which the lot fell for Aza'zel shall be presented alive before the LORD to make atonement over it, that it may be sent away into the wilderness to Aza'zel.(Leviticus 16:10 RSV) In a nutshell I have came to strongly suspect that Azazel is the fallen angel who will be somewhat like General Abner who brought the ten tribes over to King David or to Rav Shaul/Paul who repented of persecuting Christians and followers of God.

I suspect that when the fallen angel Azazel returns to the God of Abraham with his whole heart...when Yom Kippur is completely fulfilled....then a major step will have been taken toward the ushering in of a truly new era of worldwide peace where even the eating habits of wild animals like lions will be altered!

We are living in an extremely interesting time period............. where prophecies from the past can be considered to have "artistic" value that could theoretically be transformed into diplomatic and economic value.

The Latter Day Saint "White Horse Prophecy" is a good example of this.

Whether he decides to run for the office of President in 2016 or not................ Mitt Romney might just be able to play a significant role in setting in motion a series of events that could back up/ insure/ stabilize..... the value of the USA dollar.........… and improve or even save the lives of thousands of Americans over the coming decades?!

King David wasn't "divine"... He had too much blood on his hands to be allowed to build the Temple.

True................. and in these latter days..... there is supposed to come a Moshiach ben Ephrayim/ Yosef/ Messiah son of Joseph/Yosef.... who is "anointed for warfare."

I've wondered if this means metaphorical - spiritual level warfare of TRUTH x love x light...... that breaks a large part of the population of the world out of darkness/ envy/ hatred and ignorance of what is really going on here in this planet.

(After Moshiach ben Yosef/ Joseph.... comes Moshiach ben David..... who may well have a much more peaceful role to fulfill)????! ....(As a Messianic Gentile I associate Moshiach ben David with the return of Messiah Yeshua - Jesus - Issa down from heaven to the earth as he went up......... and the Moshiach ben Yosef person..... might correspond to the Christian political Cyrus type of leader predicted by Eporu Ronald Alfred.)

Margot2...... I just read another series of passages that would help to explain why President Obama's older brother....... would conclude that a true Muslim has a responsibility to teach and act toward the fulfillment of Ezekiel chapters 40 - 48!

    http://www.near-death.com/religion/islam.html
..... The flavour of these meetings between The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his meetings with Aaron and Moses............... fits with a Muslim understanding his responsibility to assist in the fulfillment of Ezekiel chapters 40 - 48, the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple complex?!

My wife and some of her friends get messages how somebody has some sort of mantle.... or anointing.... or gifting..... or role..... similar to an ancient prophet or king mentioned in scripture.

For years every time that I read an article about P. M. Stephen Harper of Canada I almost heard the name "Rehoboam...… Rehoboam..... Rehoboam" but I didn't know what this meant.

Now...… after this election I finally understand that because P. M. Stephen Harper played a little rough and did things like boot M. P. Bill Casey out of his Conservative Party..... he deeply offended a high percentage of us Canadians..... myself included.

As I was looking around for a political party to join I didn't even seriously look at the Conservative Party because I felt that if Bill Casey isn't good enough for them...… then there is no way that I would fit in either.
