Is this a hate crime?

I identify as an Alpha Male, because that is what I am.

I tell people my correct pronouns are "Alpha male". I receive a lot of hate. People tend to point blank refuse to use my correct pronouns and with the majority openly mock me and are abusive.

Is this a hate crime?

Also any advice how I can force people to use my correct pronouns?

 

“Alpha male” is not a pronoun, so it’s impossible for people to use it as such. It’s a NOUN, but why the adjective? Why “alpha”? Is it just a wish to seem strong and tough?

 

You are missing the 'crime' part. You know the beating, the murder, the sexual assault etc. First you have to commit a crime before anyone can look at the circumstances and determine the motive behind that crime and then determine that animus/ hate based on status as a protected class, was the motivator behind the criminal conduct.

If I understand you correctly you want and expect people to call you "Alpha male" instead of your proper, given name.

I can't think of any legal way to force people to call you what you'd like to be called and it would be even harder if you really are not an Alpha male.
What qualities or characteristics do you have that make you an Alpha male?
Have you been in the military in a leadership position?
Are you proficient at boxing, wrestling, or MMA?
What is it about you that would cause someone to regard you as an Alpha male?

Generally nicknames etc are earned for a reason......just my opinion.

Because gender is a social construct and non binary. It's on a spectrum, with infinite possibilities and only an individual can truly know what they identify as.

I am an Alpha Male. Why do I have to justify my pronuns to you to gain acceptance?

Seriously though- 'Alpha Male' is no more or less a reasonable demand than 'they/them' or 'ze/hir/hir' or 'per/per/pers'. 'Alpha Male' just doesn't have enough people demanding to be called that. Yet.

I got someone on this forum to refer to me as 'Master' in a debate on this very subject. Once. I think it left too foul of a taste in their mouth to continue. But I do believe they got the point.

 

Identify as a woman. That's pretty much a free pass to do whatever the hell you want.

 

Why are you trying to erase their identity?

First of all, "Alpha male" is not a pronoun: "Alpha male" is a title you have chosen for yourself and you want others to use it with no evidence that you really are an "Alpha male".

It's like you want people to call you: "Dr." or "Heavyweight Champion of the World" while having no evidence that you are either.

I'm afraid that people are not going to play along with calling you "Alpha male" unless you demonstrate that you actually are an Alpha male.

What have you done that would inspire people to regard you as an "Alpha male"?

I made my thread not to justify my gender identity to bigots, but to ask if having individuals denounce my gender identity/humanity is a hate crime!

I also wanted to know how I can successfully force bigots to recognise and use my correct pronouns.

When I made this thread I did not expect others to belittle, denounce or gaslight my gender identity because it doesn't fit it with their right wing binary, out dated, incorrect construct of what gender is.

Guess a lot of change still needs to take place for acceptance to be the norm.

I know right! Sometimes I think I'm on some sort of right wing propaganda forum with the amount of gaslighting that goes on here regarding acceptance, social justice and equality.

Don't know why it's so hard to get these people to realise gender is non binary and an individuals gender identity/ pronouns must be taken as absolute fact!

I hope you'll excuse me but I'm 70+ years old so the notion of more than 2 genders is relatively new to me and seems to simply make something simple overly complicated.
One either has a penis or a vagina. Males have penises and females have vaginas. What could be simpler?

Maybe the reason I have trouble understanding "gender as a spectrum" is because I was a Psychiatric Case Worker on an inner-city Emergency Psychiatric Hospital unit for about 10 years and dealt with people who "identified" as everything from the Death Angel of the Lord to a chicken.
More than one patient "identified" as a secret agent and one rather interesting gentleman identified of an Emperor of an undiscovered planet.

I had no problem with the patients that "identified" as secret agents, presidents, emperors or chickens. I was happy to play along with their fantasies as long as they took their medications and were no danger to themselves or others.
It was those patients who identified as Death Angels that were the most dangerous but identifying as an "alpha male" seems harmless enough as long as you don't try to dominate others and attempt to treat others as betas.

You have asked several times if and how you can compel others to call you "alpha male" and it is at least my opinion that the only way to be called "alpha male" is to be one. So far, you have provided no reasons why someone else should call you "alpha male".
There are certain to be others who ask why you deserve to be called "alpha male" so what would you tell them?

You should lookup Neopronouns. It's basically all about self acceptance, basically you can identify as whatever you want and it's societies job to recognise and accept what you identify as.

The world has changed a lot recently and become more inclusive to all. It's all about acceptance.
