I was blown away by that last part you had quoted. He had the opportunity to say that his "locker room talk" shouldn't be taken seriously, it's just BS between guys, and he didn't take it. He refused to take it back. According to this deposition, he really meant that. It's not a good thing for his case.

He is more likely an adultery, not a sex predator. A sex predator obtains sex by illegal means such as what Rep Slaton of Texas did in which the girl was so drunk she could not give consent sort of thing, plus she was under the legal age to begin with.

The Right's been repeating this mantra, but with the term "indictment." Now they're having to change it to "conviction." What will they say after he's convicted - which is guaranteed. It seems Trump's time (like Capone & Gotti) has run out, as it was destined to one way or other.

Note that 4 of those years don't count because he had presidential immunity - while the remaining years he skated (at that time) because (1) he had the money to retain high-power lawyers for years who had high-level connections & who knew how to keep the courts tied up, and (2) he was well schooled by Roy Cohn (his father's mafia-style lawyer) on how to hide his criminal activities & how to handle and/or avoid litigation.

This is the kind of stuff the Right focuses on because they have no meaningful policy, and is a symptom of Woke Derangement Syndrome (as I call it).

This 'culture war' topic is of no concern to me because it won't have any negative impact on the nation - other than pissing off right-wing/Christian fundamentalists who still live in the Dark Ages. I guess one could call it 'karma.' European colonies came uninvited & destroyed the land, lives & culture of natives - and then forced them to learn the white man's education, history & religion. Now white culture is getting a taste of it's own medicine.

My concern is on real issues - like health, the environment, political corruption, white collar crime, and how we conduct our economy.

I know one thing. Teaching LGBT issues to kids couldn't be any worse than the violence & hate and endless garbage children are exposed to on social media, the internet & TV.

In progressive/liberal nations, people prefer making love. In America, people prefer fighting. Which nation do you think would be a better place to raise children?

I'm aware that the US Attorney Delaware David Weiss (assigned to the task as SC by then AG Bill Barr, all republicans) was assigned to investigate Hunter Biden, and has been for 3 years and hasn't produced squat to show for it.

The Senate Judiciary report was debunked, not a stitch of evidence against Joe Biden. Grassley has been barking about 'evidence' for years now, and hasn't come up with anything that is actionable, just a lot of innuendo 'suspicious activity', well, that's assuming we place any value on what Grassley considers as 'suspicious' and thus far, he's batted zero.

Not much on Hunter, either, though there are hints of indicting Hunter for taxes, and lying on a gun application.

The trouble David Weiss (US Atty Delaware) is having, is that Hunter is pretty much good on his taxes. Maybe he filed late, maybe he lied on a gun permit application, but, as he said, he was on drugs at the time, but he's certain he's made good on his taxes, and the DOJ will rarely indict someone on the gun permit, maybe a fine

Nope, not at all aware of this mysterious investigation. Aside from you the only connection to one I found was on BillyJoeJimBob's site right under their story on God descending to announce T**** as his real Son, that Jesus was a warm-up and God took a mulligan.

 

I think there's a problem believing women who claim they were raped by rich and famous men when the time period when that alleged rape occurred was many years before she reported it.

Conveniently she did not come out publicly with the allegations or file a police report until after Trump announced he was running for President.

At least with the Tara Reade allegations (against Biden) they were able to find old video showing that the accuser's mother called in to a major TV talk show to discuss sexual misconduct that had happened to her daughter while she was working in the senate office, where we now know she had been working in Biden's senate office at the time. Still not proof, but it makes the allegations more credible, because it puts a time stamp of allegations on the politician before he became very important.

I'm also concerned New York may have recently passed their new law to remove the statute of limitations for the crime of rape, specifically to be able to try to go after Trump. Passing an absurd and unjust law, that could affect all men, because the state politicians are so vindictive and want to take down one specific man who is a political figure.
