don't get me wrong I'm not that invested in all this.....but just a thought......do you think that having been living his whole life surrounded by wealth and privilege and people of power; mixing with some of the most influencial people in the world he was dazzled by a "gold digger" who herself was surrounded by people of wealth and influence.....doesn't quite gel really....but hey what do I know....!!??
I liked some of Clarkson's 'Top Gear' shows -- especially the one where they had a race to the magnetic North Pole between a Toyota Hilux (wonderful vehicle!) and a man on a dog sled! Anyway, I don't know what all the big 'hoopla' about Megan Markle is about. One gets the impression that everyone in Great Britain is in a 'snit' because she was supposedly treated badly by Buckingham Palace for being Black. Well, I've seen a lot (LOT) of Blacks in my life, and Megan Markle looks less like any Black that I've ever seen in my long life... that's for sure. For me to be persuaded that she's really some kind of 'Black', she'd have to put a bone through her nose and dance topless around an African campfire or something.... No way!

Unless unquestionably unacceptable ( as is Andrew or at one time, Charles ) the press loves a bandung. It sells papers and viewing figures. IMO it was a cheap nasty attack on a woman who was "a foreigner" at a time of mindless hoopla about immigrants who were not white. Chinese and Ukrainians got the thumbs up ,(by the government). Megan was seen as sullying the British Royal line. Kate is picture perfect upper middle class aspirational white and appeals to the snob in all aspirational white upper middle class. I also admire Megan's mother DDoriashe rose up put of the swamp rats that used to be her family and behaved with natural grace and manners. I can see why Megan prefers her company over the mudslinging of British society.

What I'm waiting for is for 'the Palace' to release the result of a DNA test for Harry! Although I don't usually pay much attention to any of this silly British nonsense, but King Charles himself seems to have denied that he is the father of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. It's all like some kind of wearisome, daytime-TV drama.... If Prince Harry had wanted to make a 'statement' by marrying a Black woman, why didn't he go to Africa and get a thoroughly authentic, genuine BLACK one, so that he could really piss 'the Palace' off...?!
That's not true. Charles joked about it but it was no more than that. He certainly hasn't ''denied'' that he is Harry's father. Diana didn't even meet Hewett until Harry was 2 years old and their affair didn't start until later still. Harry married for love not to make a statement. This is the sort of deliberate misinformation that makes me more sympathetic towards Harry and explains why he wanted to get his family as far away from the trashy British tabloids as he possibly could.

As I said, I don't really follow 'Palace' intrigue much at all -- but -- I'd love to see a report on what Harry's DNA consists of... although I'm absolutely certain that no such revelation will appear for decades after ALL of us are 'dead and dust'.... yup true...in all honesty I think Chamberlains and Lady's in Waiting were pretty good at tracking down the dodgy ones...I mean some randy king getting his end away was usually well known in Court circles so when Lady Titwank-Smythe suddenly started gaining a pound or two then off on the "European grand tour" she would go for nine months....the outcome usually went to compliant retainers with healthy remuneration packages so there would be no scandal to said Lady...
