My, you hate religion? That’s a pretty strong statement. Did religion hurt you in some way? It must be Christianity because you’re on here trolling Christians.

    Far out man.

I have to agree, but also note that a love of big and authoritative government sometimes becomes a religion. This is demonstrated by the daily posts one sees on political forum. From time to time people propose the government as a source of morals in the religion forum.

Of course we see it all the time here coming from the left. They bashed Christianity and express their bigoted views against it but they don't seem to have any criticism for other religions.

Until you call them out on it and then they claim they do but of course they can't produce any evidence of their criticism

I criticize Christianity because I live in this country and it is the religion I most familiar with. But here are my posts regarding Islam.

There are no scriptures in Jehovah's inspired word, the Judeo-Christian Bible, that support your statement that the Jesus of the Bible "is also his own father." Several of the statements in your opening post are incorrect. But let's start with your comment that I bolded in red.

Matthews story about the 'temptation' of Jesus never happened. It is merely a fanciful illustration of the Jewish belief that all men are tested in their faith by HaSatan (the Satan). A messenger created by god for the purpose of testing mens faith. He was Jahwehs Messenger. He never 'fell'. Matthew is using Hebrew picture language to show Jesus testing. All Jews believed they were tested in their faith. Christianity used that story to turn Satan into Jahwehs (God's) enemy. Doesn't anyone know anything about Judaism and their beliefs. The story of Job is just an argument as to why the righteous suffer. Centuries before the same argument was made by a Babylonian trader. Google. The Babylonian Job. The Ludlul-Bel-Nimeqi . Lucifer never existed. It was the name given to a proud, boastful Babylonian King by an early church writer.

now come on, it sounds ridiculous when you say it like that, if you want people to believe the story you can't say it like that - whats next? Secret seer stones in part 3?

It has long been my opinion that Christians have four gods. There is the Trinity, father, son and holy ghost. Rhetorically they are said to be one and the same but they are thought of as separate entities with different attributes and powers. The fourth god would be Satan which few Christians worship but many Christians believe that it has as much as or more power over man than the other gods.

Remember, the biblical God beats the crap out of those he loves. Therefore, the more severe the beating, the more he loves you.

In addition, everyone is supposed to become slaves to Israel. After all, the world was created just for them and no one else. And in the afterlife, each Jew will get 2,800 slaves, so enjoy eternity.

That's what happens when your mother has lied to you all of your life about God being your daddy instead of the stork. Once Jesus got nailed, he finally realized that he was nothing special and that he had no real magical powers. He probably came up with lots of new curse words.

And considering all the trouble you've given them it's not enough by half.

But you have the whole thing wrong anyway (typical goy). You weren't created for us, we were created for you. Being God's Chosen is a burden, not a mastery. He made them as examples to show us how God wants all of us to live; in harmony with his world and loving our fellows always

At least that's what rebe says.

Well, you see, in the beginning, there was the word and the word was with god and the word was god.

Well, I don't see. The word was before there was a god? Can you explain or could the sentence be written more clearly?

And the fact that for the first couple of millennia of Christianity the only method of relaying the message of Christianity was by written word, poorly translated from previous written word which, in turn, was copied from the oral tradition that had carried the message for the first two centuries...indicates that your Creator IS limited by technology after all.

No. That’s all you get. Well it’s part of a paragraph.

“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Does that shed some more light on it?

Now let’s bow our head in prayer.

"He was with God in the beginning"? Thanks for further clouding the issue. Is he Mr. Word?
