Please tell me how much of humankind are in this horrible "believers" group that you're obsessed w/. If your concern is some isolated cult of a small group, then we can ignore them and get back on topic. If you believe that most people are bad then we have a problem.

According to the Bible, everyone is bad.

    huh

Sounds like you're saying that the Bible is the Word of God and it's all true. Please tell me where in the Bible it says that people are bad.

What did Jesus do that illustrated the 7th Commandment in action?

    You are still in pre-school.

Genesis 6:5 (ERV) = "The Lord saw that the people on the earth were very evil. He saw that they thought only about evil things all the time."

Genesis 8:21 (ERV) = "The Lord smelled these sacrifices, and it pleased him. The Lord said to himself, “I will never again curse the earth as a way to punish people. People are evil from the time they are young, but I will never again destroy every living thing on the earth as I did this time."

Zephaniah 1:3 (ERV) = "I will destroy all the people and all the animals. I will destroy the birds in the air and the fish in the sea. I will destroy the evil people and everything that makes them sin. I will remove all people from the earth.” This is what the Lord said."

Seems like we're not on the same page here.

    Cheers.

It’s toward the beginning there, also the middle and end.

For the same reason I work to expose the growing need to replace the US economy with a new one that eliminates private ownership of the MoP for private profit, yet I don’t do the same regarding the economic systems of other countries….. Capitalism is the major economic form of my country just as Christianity is the major religion in my country and so I know it best.

How would you know. You suggest that it's empty rhetoric. I know that God is real. So I don't take his words lightly. Nor do I question his judgment. I also know that John was in communion with the Holy Spirit. I don't pretend to understand the book of Revelation. But enough stands out to me as a warning that I should be prepared. So I heed that.

Actually, resisting arrest is technically correct that the text probably doesn't go word for word w/ what Injeun said, but it's not relevant because we're talking about what the text means, not what the words literally say. Jesus flat out warned us (forgive my paraphrasing like Injeun) NOT to take every passage literally. Sure, we need to take it all seriously but not literally.

How would one know that John was in communion with the Holy Spirit?

I think it's at the bottom, under the HS Diploma. ;-) It comes from God, not study. Jesus Christ is the cornerstone, not the capstone.

So God can tell you that John is in communion with the Holy Spirit but he can’t tell you what John is talking about?

Maybe I should have said that I understand some of it, but not all. It requires prayer, contemplation, and the right frame of mind or spirit. For me personally, parts of it are easily understood as being true, understandable, and applicable in spirit. So I know that in accordance with the spirit of my conversion that John was speaking or writing in communion with the holy Spirit. This may sound cultish. But it isn't.

Do you consider yourself a person of faith even though you have been granted the privilege of having direct communion with God? That is a form of evidence even though it can’t be reproduced for others.

Yes. But my faith is based on a certainty. Still all of life is uncertain. So I approach it with faith. And if need be, I find sanctuary in my testimony.

Yeah, sometimes the truth sounds cultish, but we got to live w/ it.

There's so much to learn that there's really no time to worry about it. My challenge is all the new horizons.
