But it was the yanks who fired the first shots at the Vietnamese in 1964 in the Gulf of Tonkin after attacking a Vietnamese navigation radar within Vietnam's territorial waters, given that the Vietnamese were no threat whatsoever to Planet America. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Tonkin_incident

    Wrong.

The communists had already invaded Vietnam before the gulf of Tonkin

    THEY fired the first shots

Fortunately the Vietnamese triumphed in the American war against the Vietnamese, and not the puppet Saigon dictatorship of Nguyen Van Thieu. And why the yanks retreated and built a wall to celebrate and remember a complete fiasco, and why President Nguyen Van Thieu said "The United States has not respected its promises. It is inhumane. It is not trustworthy. It is irresponsible."
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nguyễn_Văn_Thiệu

And why Vice-President Nguyen Cao Ky said the American War against the Vietnamese was "instigated by foreigners, it was brothers killing each other under the arrangements by foreign countries", and said in 1968 that "The Americans are here to defend their interests, and not because they have any particular concerns about us".
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nguyễn_Cao_Kỳ

And why Nguyen Sinh Cung who was a Vietnamese saint and revered by the Vietnamese said in 1945 about slavery of the Vietnamese by the French colonialists "All men are created equal. They are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness"
"All men are born free and with equal rights, and must always remain free and have equal rights."

    read your link

It clearly states the communists fired first , the day BEFORE the US fired on any navigation station

So you are lying and defeating yourself

    TOO easy

You have been an intellectual failure and a massive ignoramous about the war since your first post and YOU keep proving it

I love it when drooling morons post links defeating themselves

Very UNfortunate sicne the communists who started the war merely replaced a corrupt regime with an even more corrupt regime

A communist slave state which brutalized the vietnamese people even more

Unfortunately for you silly opinons mean nothing

facgts prove the US was on the correct side defending the vietnamese from communist aggression.

So what are the facgts about the number of vietnamese the yanks were actually "defending", and was it more or less than ten?

Which is fortunately why the Vietnamese triumphed in the American war against the Vietnamese, and not the puppet police dictatorship of Nguyen Van Thieu in Saigon which brutalized the Vietnamese. And why the yanks then retreated and built a wall to celebrate and commemorate a complete fiasco and sing "Yankee Doodle", given that the Vietnamese were no threat whatsoever to Planet America anyway, and why President Nguyen Van Thieu said "The United States has not respected its promises. What the french did is irrelevant, That was a different war.

The US was defending the vietnamese against the communist aggressors who brutally enslaved them

    Yankee Doodle went to town
    A-riding on a pony,
Stuck a feather in his cap
    And called it macaroni.

Is that just your intuition? Do you simply believe the official version?

Just to make sure the viewers see these videos...
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ud-of-their-candidate.619609/#post-1074880577

    ...and this.
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/american-imperialism.371897/

Outside of the US people laugh at Americans who still believe the US official version of the Vietnam war.

You are wrong and know nothing about history

    The bad guys won

Communism is evil and those who practice or follow it are always the bad guys especially when they start wars like they did in vietnam
