    Beloved Putin's economy is bristling along .. the nation on a war footing .. production through the roof. Now the Billions Putin spent was not a waste .. has gained a whole lot of very valuable territory .. well worth the spend .. the majority of the Ukraine Economy took place on the land in Putin's control .. he got the good stuff .. now just needs to defend what he has taken .. wait for Uki to fizzle out. It is not Vlad's fault Uki keeps throwing human waves at the front line .. Vlad offered peace 2 weeks into the war.. .. now over 2 years .. USA wasted hundreds of billions .. .. and wasted a generation of Uki men.. which contrary to your claim .. you don't seem at all distressed about. .. not the wasted money .. nor the wasted lives.     China is working hard to collapse the Russian economy, and effectively neuter what is left of Putin's military.


    "The Russian division of the Bank of China last month stopped processing yuan payments with Russian banks that had been sanctioned by the U.S. ICBC, China CITIC Bank and most other Chinese lenders have made similar moves.

    Kommersant reported on July 29 that it is becoming even more difficult for Russian companies to make cross-border payments in the Chinese currency. It said that around 80 percent of payments in yuan are being returned to Russia and the process of a transfer can go on for several weeks and then be canceled without a reason.

    An unnamed source told the newspaper: "Everyone will take their commission, but the payment will not be executed."

    Russian forces conducted five platoon- to battalion-sized mechanized assaults in western Donetsk Oblast on July 29 and 30. Such localized mechanized pushes are likely the manifestation of Russia's forecasted summer offensive—Russian forces likely lack the wider operational capacity to mount a separate renewed offensive operation in Donetsk Oblast or elsewhere on the front this summer. Geolocated footage published on July 29 indicates that Russian forces marginally advanced on the southwestern outskirts of Kostyantynivka (southwest of Donetsk City) during a reinforced-battalion sized mechanized assault.

    Having seen a couple of typical Z "marines" in the most recent Denys "Update from Ukraine" video, I can't say I'm surprised that their offensive capacity ain't what it used to be. They're just throwing anyone and everyone they can sucker or force into service at the Ukrainian wall of woe.

    ...but do you think in terms of an overall strategy it works? Bearing in mind that the colossal death tolls to Russia is not even part of the calculus...it's absolutely irrelevant...boiling ants......the point being that the levels of violence is indicative of intent. It's as much about messaging as it is methodology of waging war. You've seen that Russia has no qualms about destroying Childrens hospitals in Ukraine which again sends a message..."we will inflict the same levels of violence upon you as you do upon us...the only difference is we don't care". It's as much a message to Ukraine as it is to the West; and Russia has had no thoughts at all about threatening the west or it's interests or indeed targeting people or property in the west. Acts of sabotage and assassinations are being ramped up and will no doubt become more violent as time goes on....Russia is now using kidnapping as a "legitimate" method to leverage for it's own ends. The west has no idea of how to respond......so it's all about messaging.......
