Left renounces Independence Day on Twitter: 'Burn this country to the godd--- ground'

Leftists on social media slammed Independence Day this year.


Leftists on Twitter don’t seem too inclined to celebrate Independence Day this year.

Ahead of the July 4th holiday, several prominent liberals on Twitter expressed their disgust for America and indicated they will not be celebrating our independence as a nation.

For most of them, the recent Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade, has sullied the celebration.

Left-wing members of news and entertainment media claimed that women in the country are no longer free as a result of the ruling, arguing there’s no point in July 4th this year. Some mentioned that former President Donald Trump and the January 6 Capitol riot ruined their holiday.

This has long been no surprise. The secular progressive left have long had contempt for America. The last thing they want to do is celebrate the 1776 America founded on July 4th. Independence Day.

 

Whatever. We will celebrate our Independence Day without them. Let them fume and steam in silence as their neighbors have pool parties and barbecues, as the parade and marching bands go through their town or neighborhood, and the fireworks and cheering crowds keep them awake that night.

 

This is what the left does, if they can’t change the rules (pack the court and impeach the justices) then destroy everything. I’ve never met anyone who is more miserable than a liberal. But hey, at least they know Trump did this, and that just adds to their misery.

 

Do you expect anything less from this group? There are many on the left that would love nothing more than to watch everything burn and everyone suffer.

 

I guess I was hoping that the traditional liberals who I believe are genuine loyal Americans to make their voices heard both in support of our Independence Day and to condemn such expressions as covered here by the extreme left flank.

People can celebrate or not. That is their choice. I plan to install a probably made in China ceiling fan in my sister's house. That is the extent of my planned 4th of July activities. Go 'Merica and all that.

I stopped celebrating the 4th the year trump took office. Nothing to celebrate. And I will never say the pledge again. The day trump took office it ceased to have any meaning. To take the pledge now would be a lie.

And I'm not a liberal. I campaigned for Reagan and Ross Perot.

 

We told you we would never accept scumbag trump. I have told you all that "the day trump was elected America died", at least dozens of times. And now you are all shocked to figure out that we meant it?

When you elected trump you destroyed the country. The best thing to do now is legalize secession and break up the nation as the states see fit.
