Now what's so special about 90's Democrats? Republicans of the era called them radical communists too, but lets do this anyway. So, first, no one is allowing transgender men to play women's sports, etc..., it is transgender women. Second, the government has no business telling a sporting event how to run their sport. Every sport is different and they should be the ones to decide if transwomen should be allowed to participate or not. (Though I'm not sure if this belief is shared by all Democrats) Which minority groups exactly are we allowing to run amok? Asians? Because all the other minority groups are way over represented in arrests and convictions. DEI didn't exist in the 90's, but they Democrats did have Affirmative Action, which the Republicans hated and tried to shut down. Have the Democrats enacted any laws that censor speech? As for combating misinformation, we already have laws the do that in libel, slander and truth in advertising laws, the Democrats just want to expand them. Which war did the Democrats start? All the middle east conflicts we've been mired it, is the result of ol' Dubya's War on Terror™. Ukraine was started by Russia, and the Gaza/Egypt conflict is from a whole lot of hate between the Jews and the Muslims. So you are all First Amendment when people want to call you folks out on lying, but conveniently forget about it when it's college kids protesting what they believe is an injustice. Universal Healthcare has been a topic for Democrats since the 60's when the rest of the industrialized countries started implementing it, but of course over here, the powerful insurance companies made damn sure to put a stop to it. As for the 90's Democrats, Hillary Clintons was actually put in charge of over hauling the US healthcare system, but was stopped by the Republicans. Also, college was still relatively affordable so crushing student debt was not a big issue.
Uh no she lied about a bunch of stuff. Sorry I don't believe for a minute that lady word salad who has run against fossil fuels her entire career had any intention of allowing fracking. Nor do I believe that she had any intention of making any meaningful tax cuts for anyone. And no Trump inherited any economy from Obama in which working people small business folks and the poor were being crushed. We went back there under Biden.
#1 I agree that the government shouldn't be mandating anything in private sports leagues, I'm talking about publicly funded entities. Primarily colleges and any other publicly funded institution. Private schools and sports leagues can do whatever they want but if you are an entity that receives public funding then the government shouldn't be enacting mandates forcing the inclusion or exclusion of trans people from sports without a vote from the taxpayer. 90's Democrats would absolutely not be out here supporting letting men into the locker room with their daughters, they were not THAT inclusive back then and such a thing would have been dismissed as complete nonsense. Remember, even gay marriage wasn't a popular proposal by rank and file Democrats back then let alone any of this trans stuff. #2 DEI is Affirmative Action on steroids, traditional Democrats would not support DEI to that extent #3 Not over represented enough, I'm currently sitting here watching a video of dozens of minorities raiding a Walgreens in NYC with trash bags after smashing the windows on youtube. Video posted 5 days ago. This is a common occurrence within inner cities across the country. Why is this allowed to happen? Where are the police? Even in the same Democrat run cities in the 90s I never saw this level of unchecked crime going unpunished. Democrats of the 90s including Joe Biden himself openly and unapologetically supported tough on crime measures and he himself is on the record infamously stating that black people don't get to just misbehave in society due to unfortunate upbringings due to historical wrongs. #4 Besides the minor Bosnia stuff in the late 90s not any major ones. I'm talking about the current world picture to where both Democrats and RINO's are out here advocating the US attack Iran or defend Ukraine by any means necessary while also continuously giving them billions of dollars that we don't have to spare. #5 You don't have a first amendment right to take over a college campus and bar other students from entry because you disagree with some foreign policy. That is 100% illegal under any circumstance and not covered whatsoever under the US Constitution. #6 I'll give you that one, as I said I don't really know how Democrats felt about that back then.
If you care about the American people you don't try to dictate eveything down to what they eat and how they live to them. The Dems want to show they actually care about the American quit kissing WEF ass every time they meet. Those people should be repudiate by everyone not interested in being a fascist thug tomorrow or sooner.
Um, the election was stolen. The voting machines changed the votes. there was cheating. What else were the excuses?
If lying was disqualifying then tRaitor tRump couldn't get elected dog catcher. We'll never know. But we do know when tRaitor tRump cuts taxes it's for his rich buddies. That's not true. Look at graphs of any demografic from 15/16 and you see that the economy was on the upswing and maintained that same trajectory throughout tRaitor tRump's time in office ... until he ****ed the dog over COVID. President Biden inherited a shitshow of an economy from tRaitor tRump, did better with the Pandemic recovery than ANY OTHER NATION and is handing off a stable growing economy like the one tRaitor tRump inherited from President Obama.
He inherited covid lock downs all he had to do to make things better is end them. Instead he spent a but load more money on covid relief that was unneeded pushing inflation through the roof.
Bolshevik Bernie weighs in https://conservativebrief.com/kamal...g_ZfoVLhxZINalj31w_aem_ZvCs5blslIYlRnnld7avCA Sanders said that the Democratic Party didn’t talk to voters enough about or at all about issues like inflation, historically low wages, AI, sky-high prescription drug costs, sending billions of dollars to Israel’s “horrific” war on Palestine, and widespread corporate corruption. Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison took issue with Sanders’ comments, calling them “straight up BS.” This will be amusing to watch over the next year or so.
That is unfairly focused on a small factor of the world wide recovery that was predicted to cause severe recessions in most developed countries. President Biden’s leadership kept us out of recession, grew the economy, created jobs, ignited a resurgence in manufacturing. And he got inflation under control. All in less than four years. Economically he did a hell of a job. TRaitor tRump’s win is about a pissed off nation that has bought into his lies that our country is in decline at a time when, across the board, the truth is it’s never been greater.
interesting-how did they manage to spend even more than the billion they raised? especially when the legacy media was basically doing constant advertisements for them. of course her appearance on the view was one of the biggest mistakes anyone made in recent presidential campaigns
She lost because no one liked her, the DNCMSNBCNN went all in with rediculous propaganda and lost big time.. Shockingly, there are some Democrat voters that still know when their being handled..
she was patently a failure as a candidate 1) too stupid 2) too inexperienced 3) too many failures in lower offices 4) too unlikeable-between her affected cackling and her raging sense of entitlement that she never ever had to actually win the nomination, she never was tested and all the failures that would have been brought out earlier-and perhaps remedied, popped up like angry zits to close to the election and all the media supplied clearasil couldn't cover up the pus
Very few of these are actual policies, they are just the right's demented version of what they think are the left's policies. A couple of giveaways, DEI, wokeness, victimhood card, gender garbage, etc... if the "policy" is using emotionally charged language, then it is is most likely not a policy at all.
The very core of being a progressive, and the thing that separates them from conservatives is, well, progress. And progress tends to be more incremental than revolutionary. Actually, if it wasn't for the AIDS epidemic and Reagan cozying up with the religious right, we probably would have had gay marriage by the 90's if not before. See above. Overall, the crime rate is about 1/2 of what it was in the 90's, the difference is how it is reported. Well sure, there are hawks on both sides, but I think overall, most Americans (liberals included), do not want war. It is also illegal to break into the Capital and threaten members of Congress when they are trying to do their Constitutional duties, so maybe we should just leave it at that. Fair enough.
