Which is something you've been doing from the beginning.
And to take a leaf from your book it's not insulting if it's true
    Hadn't noticed
Which room? My office? I haven't left it.
No. Anyone who reads topic can quite easily discern the fact that you have been monumentally rude.
I've detailed the ways in which you've been rude to others as well which you haven't answered to.
And what is an internet tough guy? Someone who bend bits?
    And you still cannot spell
Of course there are things I can do
What I find strange is that you quite clearly have a propensity to troll various topics without any clear motive.

    Let's get back to Libya.

Its a failed state because it is run by people who cannot responsibly run a state.

True. The revolutionary government can't seem to keep a lid on the militias running around which refuse to disarm.
And it wouldn't surprise me if the army has questionable motives either.
I don't think that we should have bombed Libya or rather their tanks and bases which were instrumental in curbing the rebels.

I am now of the opinion that much of the Muslim world unfortunately needs dictatorships to keep order.

maybe we should have left Ghaddafi.

Well I don't necessarily think it's the Muslim world per say but rather with many new nations made up of different peoples.
But yes Gaddafi really should have been left alone at least until it was certain that something better could replace him.

Of course with dictatorships many of them seem to bring the country down with them by default.

You shouldn't be so quick to project your own ignorance of historical events onto everyone else.

Yep, we seem to make failed states wherever we go.

Both had to break away from Britain to get to that point.

    That doesn't surprise me.
I'm just sharing a story that I found on my RSS feed which I felt might inject some life into this thread.

India was on it's way towards home rule since the late 20's.
Britain's interest was in sliding towards dominion-hood which didn't happen and that wound up in disaster.

Hong Kong was little more than fishing village in 1842.
And by 1997 the lease had run out.
In fact my family has had history in Hong Kong trying the keep the place stable and it's because of that they are as prosperous as they are.

    Similar story with Singapore.

Libya has always been ruled artificially. That is to say that I don't think Libya as it's currently constituted can rule itself fairly and democratically and it shows in history.

By "help", you mean let the bad guys overrun our embassy, kill whomever they can get their hands on, and then blame it on a video for 2 weeks?

Yeah, with leadership like that, Libya never had a chance.

I don't think Libya's peace was the priority of the US, obviously. They whipped up a rebellion, had Ghaddafi killed, and just left.

I'm not even sure why the embassy would have stayed at that point. When your country comes in and assassinates the leader of the country your in while inciting a huge rebellion, I'd think that was more than enough reason to leave. Other embassies leave before things like that happen. That whole story is weird. I suspect Obama knows what happened, but I also suspect the reason why he isn't brought up on charges is because both parties in government, or perhaps some agency like the CIA or whatever, would also be named among the 'conspirators'.

I guess Benghazi is a conspiracy theory, huh?

    Ghaddafi had a strong fist.
    Arabs need that.
Their violence way of life cannot handle democracy. They simply cannot.
Look what's going on in Europe.. Most are bringing their old age brutality behaviour among us.

Dunno about that. Europe seems to be doing well. Also India, China, Australia, the US, Canada, . . .

    Seems to be mainly Africa.
