Seems like US will solve one more issue in Balkans.

that is hypocrisy , both ethnic Macedonians and ethnic Albanians should agree and fight for the name of the country. Seems like nationalism is more preferable than EU and NATO, which is reachable to Macedonia since Greece was the only opponent of their entrance in the NATO for political reasons. shame:)

disable Greece to screw up any opportunity for the development of Macedonia for the beginning:mrgreen:
everything starts from the name, if you guys actually care of your well being you at the first place would not call your country FYROM and when you say fyromians at the same time you refer to yourself if you haven't notice that by now.

Why are Macedonia and Montenegro joining NATO? :D:D:D

They offer nothing with their 10 soldiers and 1/2 a tank.

If the Greeks have the right to decide about our name why we do not have the same right and suggest that the international community should consider of changing their name to something which will please us.

I think that they are in better position for taking already part in Nato and other institutions way before Macedonia as independent country existed :)

There is no such a thing called "Macedonian name dispute". The name of Macedonia is Macedonia. And Macedonians are Macedonians, not FYROMians or whatever. Maybe we should ask UN to rename Greece to Gayreece because we feel like Greeks don't deserve the name "Greece".

Because Greeks are special as (*)(*)(*)(*), dude. You won't achieve your basic goal if it's not pleasing Greece.

If Greeks say Macedonia is not really Macedonia, then it's not really Macedonia.
If Greeks feel like calling you Macedonians is an insult to their history, then you should be called as "FYROMians".
If Greeks feel like they're touched when you call Istanbul as Istanbul but not Constantinople, it is called Constantinople.
If Greeks are not pleased with independence of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, then the UN won't recognize it and pressure other countries to not recognize it.
If Greeks feels like it touches them when you call Northern Cyprus as Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, it should be called Northern Cyprus.
If Greeks say baklava and Turkish coffee are not Turkish but Greek, then they're actually stuff originated in Greece and stolen by Turks.
If Greeks say Turks are not Turks but Greeks of Anatolia, then Turks are of Greek origin.
If Greeks say e ≠ mc2, then Einstein basically was wrong.

Maybe he was Greek but we don't know, he was named "Albertis Einstenou", but German Jews eventually stole him and all his work from them, just like Turks done to their baklava, coffee and other dishes. :-D

Frozy, why do you blindly follow that article and made some baseless conclusions?
At the time deal was on a table -Northern Macedonia- and both sides had a word in it, I've heard from Slavic Macedonians, who happen to be my RL friends, that Albos were against it! After swift campaign against reasonable proposition whole country sank into another level of hysteria.
Albanians DO NOT integrate well into any society, they stick like rice...
    When is enough enough, frozy?

    1. Macedonians are not for name Northern Macedonia, that is officially supported by all Macedonians
    2. I didn't imply that 'Albos' are integrated into 'society' , that (red part) is pretty much clueless
    3. ALbanians don't even care about name of the country to some important extent for simple reason that decades ago they had no attention my Macedonian government- and for that i said in the very end-shame refering to Valmir .
4.you are not obliged to read any post on this forum therefore you have no right to demand in a way-when is enough enough plus bold the enough word, capisci? :)
    5. any society? well i believe that that part is a bit clueless and with all do respect, i believe that you're not relevant enough to blame anyone for not integrating into society:)

They were at one point agreeable to that, as I pointed out in my post. Attn is very much needed.
If they DO not integrate how do you expect them to 'agree and fight' for the name, as you call it, back to back with Slavs? Note: first quote, your initial post.
1/ Albanians don't care 'cause they DO not integrate, simple! Decades ago 'Macedonian' government wasn't even active in this form as we were all Yugoslavia and YU federal government was dealing with all ongoing issues.
2/ So you expected ValmirZz to jump the gun right away...'shame' was in your initial post.
True, however, I can answer to all of your baseless posts and attacks on a regional Christian nations.
I'm not relevant to you, but I am competent. I stand by my words.

what are you talking about? I mean, you're developing my statement and simply doing that instead of me?!:omg:
Also integration requires some time and you can't expect Macedonian Albanians to integrate just like that as soon as sun goes up and tv news proclaim decision from the government that they got right to school their kids on their mother tongue.
Bold part: Slavs? Officially there is no clear origin in Balkans 2. yes I suggest to fight back to back with so called Slavic Macedonians, after all if war, fight and that sort of things can divide it can also unite.

First there is no point in what you have said, especially the red part.
Macedonia gained independence in 1992 and as newly formed country it was supposed to take care of its peoples. Instead of that, 'Albos' had no schooling right in their own language for an instance and as population with significant number they had all rights on that.

if there is something baseless in my post it is your comment clearly colored with red up there. 1. On that issue, Greece has been even 'attacked' by their christian neighbors Macedonians. Will you asess this statement, in same manner as it is written by Macedonian which is somewhere below :

or you don't consider it as an attack -.- while you consider any similar remark coming from non christian as an attack? 2.I might even be Christian, why are you so sure that I'm not :D

Standing by your word is not necessarily competence:

I'll be very short and to the point 'cause I dislike all that decoration in your post.

1/ Separate schools in Albanian mother lang prevent them to integrate into society which is predominantly Slavic. It's like an oxymoron to demand separate schools in order to 'integrate' and if you have any doubts, try to push such an idea in a 'democratic' society as USA is and you'll see what will happen!

2/ Albanians had and have their schools in FYRoMacedonia.

'In 1994 there were 1,067 elementary schools in Macedonia, with a total of 7,175 classes. Of those, 718 were ethnic Macedonian schools, attended by 188,051 ethnic Macedonian pupils. The 279 ethnic Albanian schools taught 72,121 ethnic Albanian pupils, and the remaining 55 elementary schools were attended by 5,342 ethnic Turkish children. The teachers for these schools were composed of 8,990 ethnic Macedonians, 3,571 ethnic Albanians, and 288 ethnic Turks.
    ...'

3/ I've my opinion about your religious affiliation and it's based on your posts. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck...going into the conflict with Croat, Serbs and Greeks while protecting Albos...

    Correct!
Currently, Albanian students have a univesity in Tetovo, FYRoMacedonia, but according to 'some', they don't even have an elementary schools...

Brilliant post I must say. Never thought you possess so much of the knowledge regarding minorities' situation in Ex-yu republics. Macedonian Albanians were so much oppressed that they weren't allowed(till 1990) to bear their original surnames without having a suffix -ski(slavic macedonian) ! The high rate of unemployment and the low level of literacy were a direct result of discrimination policy conducted by Macedonian governments. Although the percentage of Albanians is more than 30 % out of total population, they representation in institutions like cultural, political, educational and broadcasting (media )was embarrassing to the point of humiliation. Representation of Albanians inside Macedonian police was less than 5%, despite they comprised more than 30 % out of total population.
As for education, Tetovo University is a private one, furthermore Macedonian Government used bullets to kill Albanians on the day when this institution was opened. Instead of providing Public education for Albanians, as the citizens of Macedonia, it's government made everything possible to create obstacles for Albanian pupils and students , not to learn in their language !

Now as for blabbering about Slavs, Christianity.... We already have seen what kind of antichrist nation servs are !
-Was Srebrenica genocide commited by serbs in the name of "Slavism" ?
-Were Bosniac Muslim women (tens of thousands) raped by serb cowards during Bosnia War in the name of "Slavism"?
-Were Catholic church burned and destroyed in Croatia by serbs in the name of "Slavism" ?
    - Were slaughtering of Catholic men and women, mutilation of their bodies carried out by serbs .... in the name of "Slavism"?

What about christian lands stolen by serbs like Banat, Backa, Pirot, Bosilegrad - all of them part of Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria ? Another proof of serbian christianism !

    Absolutely not true. For instance...

'Shaban Terstena (Albanian: Shaban Tërstena, Serbo-Croatian: Šaban Trstena, born January 1, 1965 in Skopje, SR Macedonia, Yugoslavia) is a former Yugoslavian and Macedonian wrestler with Albanian origin, who won the gold medal at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and also won the silver medal at the Seoul Olympics in 1988. Terstena is the 1984 European champion, won the silver medals in 1983, 1985, 1986, and the bronze in 1982 and 1988. He holds the 1982 World Wrestling Championships bronze . Whenever he took part in the Mediterranean or Balkan Games, he was the wrestler to win the first place. He has been pronounced the Best Macedonian athlete many times and once, in 1984 the best athlete of Yugoslavia. In 2000 he has been also pronounced the best Albanian athlete of the last century. He has won 715 matches out of 741 fights. He participated in 42 tournaments in the world winning 30 gold medals, the remainder being silver and bronze. At the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996 he won the fifth place.'
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaban_Trstena

Again, not true, but we'll wait for a census to show the correct results. From what has been indicated Albanians in FYRoMacedonia are under 20%. The high level of unemployment is directly linked with inability to integrate and learn language of the country they're citizens of, properly and to the level sufficient to find a decent employment.
The State University of Tetovo is not a private one for sure.
    http://www.unite.edu.mk/

On repetitive spam and trolling I've no words 'cause it's off topic.

The university of Tetovo was established on 17 December 1994, however, it was not officially recognized as a state university by the Government of Republic of Macedonia until January, 2004.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_University_of_Tetovo

    ....

Despite the resolute refusal of the Macedonian Government to legitimize this institution of higher learning in the Albanian language, the Albanians decided to proceed with their idea, aiming to mitigate the disastrous situation in the area of higher education, reflected in only 2-3 percent of students of Albanian nationality at the two existing universities, in Skoplje and Bitolj. This situation significantly deteriorated with the closing of the Teacher Training College in Skoplje, during the period of "struggle against Albanian nationalism and separatism" in the mid-80's, as well as after the factual closing of the Pristina University at the beginning of the 90's ... The harshness of the police intervention, marked by barrage fire from automatic weapons did not prevent OEBS (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) mission observers nor UNPROFOR (now UNPREDEP) observers from attending in armoured vehicles.THE EPILOGUE WAS TRAGIC - a citizen of Albanian nationality was killed on the spot and a number of others were arrested. Among them were the rector of Tetovo University, Dr. Fadilj Sulejmani, as well as several of his closest associates. Later they were released, but only after the situation was brought under "control". During this entire period instruction was carried out smoothly, in secret, so that not even journalists knew its location....

Albanians were discriminated, serbs and macedonians did used the same methods of persecution. While Albanians from Kosovo gained independence, those from Macedonia did achieved an admirable advance of their position within Macedonia state... there is a lot to improve in the future... Still, mentioning one individual can not be taken as a general example of how majority of them lived....

nevertheless, still no response of serbian "slavism" ! As expected, with some useless justification always in search of diverting the substance of the issue, never seen a serb at least showing a bit of decency and culture to admit the role of their genocidal country in killing, raping, and massive ethnic cleansing of non-serbs ! What can you expect from a nation, who gave a hand and helped to rise in power the butcher of balkan - Slobodan Milose(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) !

As for surnames , amongst Albanians were Slavicized Albanian surnames of the type:

Malaj would be Malovski, Enveri would be Enverovski, Kurti would be Kurtishevski, Balaj would be Balovski or Balevski, Kodra would be Kodrievski, Izeiri would be Izeirovski etc etc....
