By definition pedophilia is having sex with a prepubescent child. People go to jail for performing such actions and should. Your attempt to arrange the angels on the head of a pin to suit yourself is duly noted and found pointless and pedantic.

 

Incorrect. The definition of pedophilia is a disorder in which the person has sexual attractions to prepubescent minors. I provided that definition earlier in the thread from Merriam-Webster. A person can have pedophilia and not have acted upon it. Again can you show where a person has been charged and convicted with pedophilia, as opposed to some other crime, or a law that makes pedophilia itself illegal?
