I just came across this verse for the first time and never knew it was in the Bible. But here it is: "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation" For those who want to see the full context within the entire chapter, here you go: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark 3&version=KJV This is somewhat upsetting to me, because it shows how many Christians do not value constitutional and inalienable rights, even though they supposedly come from God. Here's the kind of thing I mean. Sau a woman has come to this belief: "I believe that Jesus Christ is a homosexual who has anal sex with grown men." I'm sorry if this upsets people, but I am not trying to be upsetting on purpose. In A Christian society, this would be considered a blasphemy. She would be punished to correct her belief and never be allowed to express this belief. In a secular society that values free speech, she would be allowed to have this belief and to be able to express it without recriminations. So in conclusion, there are many Christians out there who do not value constitutional rights. So I put this question to you: What does this verse mean to you?
