These are the type of responses you get when you point out that the GOP is slowly killing itself. If they refuse to accept it and want to stay in denial, they'll have nobody but themselves to blame when they are made completely irrelevant. I, for one, don't like the thought of the republican party failing that badly. It's important to have a relevant conservative argument involved in the decision making done by our elected officials. They just seem so incredibly butt-hurt by Obama, that they don't care though. It's like their past the point of showing restraint and are in full-time fear-mongering/temper tantrum/obstructionist/conspiracy theorist mode. Like I said, they don't seem to care one bit though.

Rush Limbaugh said the same thing, even as he was spreading the poison. He said that there is a "war going on within the Republican party" And he prefers the people who are undermining that party. Of course, he doesn't really care about the future of the GOP or even of the consevative "movement". He's a disc jockey. He cares about how many listeners he has ,and his ad revenue. He knows his audience. He knows the provencial nativism of red state America. And he knows the bigotry and ignorance of a big slice of his audience too.
