Media so Trump-deranged, it ignores Manchester aftermath

I mentioned what others confirm. CNN and MSNBC missed parts of the Manchester story on purpose. I started writing earlier about how much of Trump's foreign trip wasn't being covered.
When this story broke, I tuned to all the major cable news sources. Not soo surprised to find that some were not covering the most important story of the day. It's what you don't see that can hurt you.

Don't believe it MOD EDIT>>>FLAME BAIT<<<? It is a fact. This is journalistic negligence. See for yourself.

I disagree. Your use of the word "negligence" implies their programing was accidental.

Its not. They did it on purpose.

Muslim immigrants slaying the indigenous people of England isn't helpful to CNN and MSNBC's stated goals and positions.

If you believe they're goals and positions are to bring the news of the day to viewers, you are sadly mistaken.

CNN and MSNBC are the propaganda arm of the DNC.

I did toy with the word malfeasance in place of negligence. My purpose was mainly to bring the issue I have raised in other recent posts to light. It is for the regular naysayers on the board who refuse to believe in fact. They go to great lengths to deflect to other subjects, chit chat and thread derail rather than hear anything that doesn't sync with their resist agenda.

As news broke Monday night of the deadly blasts at a concert in Manchester, England, you could flip to any major news network and see similar visuals: shaky cellphone videos of people on the scene—many of them teenage girls—screaming and running for their lives. CNN and Fox News, in particular, seemed to play the same videos again and again, etching the haunting details into the memory of anyone watching for an extended period of time.

This element of the broadcasts was hardly novel: Scenes of chaos and panic are a staple of cable news coverage of terror attacks, from September 11 to Paris to Orlando. Periodically, media critics will point out that this sort of treatment—which emphasizes the drama, the human suffering, the terror itself—tends to serve the goals of the perpetrators. It helps to elevate a local tragedy to a global one, and to magnify the public’s fear and anger exponentially. In the long run, it may help to perpetuate a cycle of violence, of nonstate terror and state retribution.

MSNBC has been carrying the Manchester attacks as their lead story for days. So has CNN. In fact, it was on CNN that I first learned of the attack. They reported it as soon as it was known. I had CNN on in my hotel room yesterday and this morning. It was their lead story, with details today on the perp, the arrest of his family members, the pictures of the girls killed, and so on.

The news I'm most interested in is, which foot did Trump put in his mouth today.

Go to MSNBC's site right now and you would never know there was a terror attack. http://www.msnbc.com/

Yeah. A ******n hour and a half AFTER it happened. Meanwhile Fox News was covering it almost immediately. Dropped everything else to cover it solely as every network should had done. But CNN was to busy ranting and raving about bullshit Russia conspiracies.

And even when they started covering it their coverage was absolutely atrocious. One anchor even suggested on live television that this was probably a false flag attack by right wingers trying to bolster support for Trumps foreign visit. An anchor said that. Are you ****ing kidding me?

That is a bold face LIE. I know you have to defend anything the left does at all cost no matter how completely stupid it is but ******n son.

Fox News started reporting this story at 6:48. CNN did not start covering it until roughly 7:50. (Numbers may be off by a few minutes this is going off from memory of last night)

Cover it solely? It was a tragedy and a terrible event. But 22 people died. The networks didn't report on a single event even after 9/11, where 3000 people died.

CNN reported on it right after it happened. That's where I first saw it. So no, you're incorrect that they waited an hour and a half after it happened. It was very big news. CNN even reported on the car killing people in Times Square last week as soon as it happened.

Please post some links to back this up. I first heard it on CNN right after it happened, which was 10:30 pm in Manchester and 5:30 pm ET. It was huge news and CNN, like all the networks, immediately started reporting on it when the Tweets and news came in.

By the way, this has nothing to do with the left, and I've been a registered Republican since 1980, so your partisan swipes don't work. This isn't a partisan issue.

It was on their home page. You can see it for yourself.

They've been reporting on it since Monday, as every other network has. You may want to look at clips of all of their shows. It was an international and very sad tragedy that is probably being covered by every network in the world. That's what happens when innocent children died. That's also what made Sandy Hook and Oklahoma City such big news. Nobody wants to see young people get killed for simply being young people. Not even the people at MSNBC.

I found it on their front page.

I just turned on MSNBC. Greta is on. When she gets back from break she's doing a segment on the Manchester attacker. You may want to turn it on now since you're anxious to learn more about the story from other networks.

I don't watch broadcast news that much. I usually turn it off when they do the 24/7 hash and rehash of the same information. I'm interested in new developments not rather one of the investigating officers ate fish & chips for lunch.

another lie. Reports of the attack didn't even start coming in until 6 so there's no way you heard about from CNN at 5:30. If you're going to make up stories to defend your precious fake news then at least make one up that can't be easily crushed. The first time CNN mentioned the attack was the opening segment at the start of the 7pm show where the anchor took a brief minute or so to say that an incident had happened, but then immediately went into the real "breaking news" of some White House Russia conspiracy crap and talked about that for nearly half an hour. Coverage of the attack did not start until near the end of the hour. You fail.
