More than a dozen Confederate statues vandalized around the country so far in 2019

Couldn't be the DNC; after all the democrats (according to many conservatives in here) were pro-slavery, so those statues erected were their hero's. Therefore it would be logical to assume it must be republican talibans who are responsible for these heinous actions.

 

Well, no. This really speaks to the split personality of the democratic party. You are undoubtedly correct in one aspect, the democrats were pro slavery (and are still pro slavery and pro racism). The democrats are the party of racism, no doubt about it. But you have new generations of liberals force feeding themselves fake news and so there is a constant stoking of the racial tensions and the fires of ignorance burn bright with the liberals. And so the liberal left finds itself in yet another political paradox.

 

And the conservatives?

 

What democrats are doing to this country is humiliating to ALL OF US!

 

They are only attempting to repair the damage done to this country and what's left of our allies in the world by President Bone Spurs.

Preservation of American history. These monuments document history and the people and the struggle America went through. Only the democrats would find satisfaction in destroying historical US artifacts. They remind me of this one terrorist group that was doing the same thing in the middle east. Hmmm...

The removals were driven by the belief that the monuments glorify white supremacy and memorialize a treasonous government whose founding principle was the perpetuation and expansion of slavery. Those objecting believe that the artifacts are part of the cultural heritage of the southern United States.

Paradoxically, liberals dont understand the values upon which this nation was built. So they are destroying these pieces of history based out of an abundance of ignorance.

Statues were put up by people long ago and society had better accept them or else now that that is a past dichotomy the current people want them gone. You confederates will need to kneel and bob at some other effigy of yer failed rebellion.

 

I wonder if the media would get their panties in a wad if some MLK statues were vandalized?
