44,000 voters registered in both Maryland and northern Virginia. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...ed-in-both-virginia-and-maryland-group-finds/ Think any of these fraudulent votes are going GOP? I dont.
George acknowledged that the number of voters who actually cast multiple ballots is relatively small. In the case of Maryland and Virginia, he revealed that 164 people voted in both states during the 2012 election. That is from your own link.
Taxcutter says: Just because nobody has looked hard enough. These are Democrat-friendly areas. Probably local election official (Democrats) had boxes of fraudulent votes stashed in the trunk of somebody's car just in case an election got close. Like termites, just because you don't see election fraud doesn't mean it isn't there. Cockroaches don't come out into the light except in unusual circumstances. Those people didn't get duplicate registrations for nothing. Murphy's Law indicates they will "vote" when needed. After all, the land of "19,000-0" is just a stone's throw away. So why have the duplicate registrations not been purged?
Taxcutter says: That they know of. Maybe a closer look is indicated. This stuff never seems to happen in GOP strongholds.
It was the GOP related conservative group doing the study. http://www.virginiavotersalliance.com When your side wins the WH and still makes this a priority issue, I will consider this more of a problem. Until then I call it sour grapes.
The repubs specialize in voter SUPPRESSION. At the same time, they continuously snivel about voter fraud, although every independent study ever made indicates that the only fraud involved is the repub claims. Claiming FAUX news as a source for anything political is about as reliable as quoting the tooth fairy or the Easter bunny.
Taxcutter says: Damned straight. Suppression of voting by dead people, multiple votes by Dem activists, illegal aliens, and other ineligible voters. - - - Updated - - - Taxcutter asks: Where some races are determined by less than a thousand votes, 44,000 fraudulent voters is a veritable mountain range.
regardless, your petty dictatewhore cannot hold this office again. Thank God for term limits..............and he'll never be satisfied with holding a lower position.
I still cannot understand why anyone with half a brain would vote Democratic.People, come to your senses and give Republicans control of both houses of Congress in November.
He can't, but he can show examples of Democrat party operatives intimidating voters entering polling places.
Fraud: Local NBC Investigation Discovers Dozens of Illegal Voters in Florida Here's a report from a news investigator researching on his own... Then took those 94... Seems those who oppose VoterID would want to ensure none of these 6300 voters cast one or more ballots for George W Bush, eh?
The repubs CLAIM voter fraud, without proof - just their usual noise. Meanwhile, they PRACTICE voter suppression, and get slapped down by the courts because their suppression is so obviously partisan oriented.
A few minor points, probably not mentioned because they would be inconvenient. 1. I am willing to grant that it is possible that 44,000 voters are registered in both states. This means nothing. For one thing, Virginia, last time I checked, was a GOP state. Also, the problem can easily be explained (and has been - by me). When someone moves, and the MD-VA area has a fluid and very mobile population, the losing jurisdiction is supposed to delete them from the voter rolls. They do not always do this. Let us, for the moment, assume that 44,000 people voted in one state, raced to their car, drove like a banshee to the other state, and also voted there. I am not going to bother looking up the population of either state. I'll let you do that. However, that the total voting population and the 44,000 dual registered voters (whose existence is vouched for by the famously partisan mouthpiece of the repubs, FAUX news) gets put is perspective. Anyway. divide 44,000 by the total voting population. This will give you the percentage of (alleged) "fraudulent" voters. 2. Then, take the number of alleged voters who supposedly voted in both states (164). Do the same math. I suspect the percentage will be laughably low. This is obviously just another example of the usual, lame excuses for voter suppression so loved by the GOP. Again, do the math. G0 for it.
That number probably parallels the number of handgun murders in Maryland and Northern Virginia in 2012. Funny how conservatives want to register voters but not guns. Is my logic off here somehow? Have I fallen down the rabbit hole?
