Let us not forget that Lalkin also endangered the lives of other soldiers- by refusing to deploy, a different doctor- who was not scheduled- or trained to be deployed- was sent in his stead.

I don't know exactly what to think of Lakin- whether he was just a gullible fool or whether he volunteered for this thinking he was going to be a martyr, but he got the justice that he had been warned about repeatedly would happen- and needed to happen for military cohesiveness.

I feel very sorry for his wife and children.

 

Yes we do. Unless you want to push the definition of knowledge to sitting in the fault in Hawaii for 50 years staring at Obama's BC just to make sure no-one swapped it with a girl named Barack. If we don't know the truth about your President, then we don't know the truth about anyone because No-one could pass the endlessly shifting goalposts of the birthers.

And we DO know that Lakin's actions were illegal in Military law.

He did not have the right to refuse to deploy because he didn't like the guy at the top of the chain.

He did not have any authority over "vetting" the President, and he had no right to a copy of his BC.

He got the answers to his questions, namely that his orders were Legal, but he refused to accept those answers because he didn't like them.

He was ordered to get on the plane, but he refused. He even took his pre-deployment leave, but did not deploy.

And He showed active disrespect to his superior officer.

In his court martial, Lakin pleaded guilty to three orders violations; the only contested charge — of which LTC Lakin was convicted — was missing movement by design. Guess what, even if Obama had rushed over a copy of his BC to the trial, Lakin still would have been found guilty. Especially since the BC would have proven Lakin's whole dog and pony show was baseless

From what people have said he seemed to have been a fairly intelligent and pleasant guy till before all this started, but suffered some kind of breakdown. People were coming up and asking what the hell was wrong with Dr. Lakin, as people could not believe it. In his videos he is a very blank, unemotional man, and just talks with no emotional cadence whatsoever. I'm no doctor but I've been around people who have problems and lack of emotion is a sign of something going wrong upstairs.

But the reality is that Lakin is probably the one person that can really claim that his life has been ruined by birthers, but it was with his own active help; So I guess its a bit from column A and a bit from column B. Either way I am wasting no sympathy on Lakin but I have plenty for his family. Withthe exception of his brother who seems to have been egging him on.

Somehow I don't think there will be any mention of Major Dobson and his wife who both served and of the patients Lakin neglected. How about a scene where Lakin lounges around the house on his per-deployment leave while he knows he is planning to screw his outfit?

Well then, I have some good news for you. Obama has released his short and long form birth certificates, both have been confirmed, and there is a number of other pieces of very strong evidence to indicate that Obama was born in Hawaii on the date he claimed.

The idea that Ann Dunham gave birth to Barack in Kenya is about as silly as claiming she went to the moon in 1961. Hawaii has said she gave birth there in as many official ways as one could imagine and government of Kenya says he wasn't born there. You don't need to look further although we have and there is plenty of other evidence to support that fact.
