XUMO, some new channel that came up in my search for the movie It's a Wonderful Life, on Comcast, had the movie for free. It said it had been edited for time, as many movies do when viewed on TV. But oh well. Usually I don't notice much. I hadn't watched this recently and needed a Christmas fix. So I settled in and watched up until George rescued Clarence. They were sitting in the office and Clarence had just revealed that he was an Angel, Second Class, when it cut to George running down the street and saying I love you Bedford Falls. I love you Emporium... The entire visit to a world without George Bailey was completely cut out!!! And you have no idea why he's so happy or what happened to Clarence. Jeeeeeezuz!
That's pretty messed up. I saw the whole thing last week on my TV. I'm glad it wasn't butchered everywhere.
I had to go back and watch the rest on Amazon. They had it uncut. But what a hack job they did on XUMO.
