You do realize, that since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, very few of my posts on this topic have been responded with anything like a policy discussion; It's been a lot like this, where if I don't agree with the Biden narrative, I'm accused of being a Putin bot or some such.

You on the other hand, are actually not American, so the irony of being called non American by a foreigner who's only interest in America is raping it of money and materiel in pursuit of some other country's national interest is kind of laughable.

I read the Wikipedia article. Of course, there are such cases, but they are so rare that it is not necessary to talk about some kind of mass racism. Tens of thousands of crimes and murders occur in Russia every year, against this background, isolated cases of aggression against blacks and other non-Russian nationalities look unconvincing. There are crimes against Russians, but no one cares about that. I think that in USA was more simular cases, but you don't call Americans racists.

Racism in my understanding is when people living peacefully are attacked only because they are of a different nationality. But often these nationalities are not peaceful at all. For example, Chechens, there are a lot of them in Moscow and they behave defiantly. There was such a case when a motorcade of Chechens drove through the center of Moscow shooting into the air from a machine gun. It turned out that it was a wedding, and in Chechnya it is customary to shoot in the air at a wedding. There are a lot of Caucasians in the south of Russia and they are starting to establish their own rules that other people don't like and this causes conflicts.

I remember about the ice cream "Obamka". We discussed it on the forum and joked. It was a chocolate-covered popsicle. Then Obama was the hero of memes and the ice cream maker came up with such a name. Naturally, this was a marketing ploy, and not bullying or racism at all. I am sure that dozens of cartoons were drawn on Obama in the USA, but no one says that these cartoonists are racists.

I also remembered the story of the Crimean Tatars. It is known that Stalin repressed them - evicted them to Kazakhstan. This can also be considered nationalism or racism. But that wasn't really the reason. The reason is that during the Nazi occupation, Crimean Tatars en masse went to serve in the police. And they carried out punitive operations and shot suspects in the resistance to fascism. And when the fascists left the Crimea, the local population began to take revenge on the Tatars and killings of collaborators began. Therefore, it was decided to relocate all Tatars. Thus they were saved.

 

Why not relocate the offenders instead?

I wouldn't bet on Hersh. The older he's gotten, the less reliable he's gotten, however at least his story makes coherent sense. The process and motivations seem plausible. It's the "It was Russia!" crowd that seems incoherent and crazy. The fact that no one in the West wants an open investigation seems damning.
