MYTH: Barack Obama Can Direct The State Of Hawaii To Release His Long Form Birth Cert

No, you can't obtain a "certificate of live birth" anymore.

The state Department of Health no longer issues copies of paper birth certificates as was done in the past, said spokeswoman Janice Okubo.

The department only issues "certifications" of live births, and that is the "official birth certificate" issued by the state of Hawaii, she said.

And, it's only available in electronic form.

Okubo explained that the Health Department went paperless in 2001.

If a federal indictment (or subpeona) were to be handed to the State of Hawaii from the Circuit District Court in D.C., SIGNED BY A FEDERAL JUDGE, I can assure you the State of Hawaii would produce the boy-President's *REAL*, type-written, coffee-stained, wrinkled birth certificate.

The question stands: Hawaii, release the original Birth Certificate for Barack Hussein Obama.

Did the State of Hawaii destroy the original when they entered the information into their electronic records system?

If they did not destroy it, then:

If the President of the United States requested his original birth certificate, would they refuse to give it to him?

And finally:

Why doesn't President Obama just lay this whole question to rest?

 

Didn't he say at one point he found his birth cert. and some of his fathers papers...where is that?

You're misinterpreting the article. It's saying that as of now, a long form certificate isn't generated when a person is born. That says nothing about long form certificates generated in decades past. And it doesn't say any originals were destroyed when they "went paperless".

 

How come Obama has spend $2mil to get away from this issue?

No, they would produce a COLB. There is no VALID reason to question the validity of Hawaii's records. Hawaii would supply any court with jurisdiction with the prima facie proof that the person was born in Hawaii if requested through the proper channels. That prima facie proof is the COLB.

Unfortunately for the birthers, they have a hard time finding judges with the jurisdiction, after more than 3 years, who don't outright laugh them out of court.

These are the same people that lost to an empty chair. AN EMPTY CHAIR!!!!

 

There's no valid or credible reason to question Hawaii's records. Birther whining isn't sufficient evidence.

The whole "birther" thing is just insane. They claim to have proof that Obama isn't born and what they have is just ideas of things. Here is a few clues that might help some out there on this. You can't tell if something is photoshopped unless it is done really poorly which from these COLB that we have seen you can't tell as there are a number of variables that are just not able of being removed completely like for example scanner issues, issues when compiling the image over to a format for the web using Adobe Photoshop or any number of image programs.

Also you have the most obvious of issues the number of people that would be involved in a cover up this size. As there are people who have just as much access to information as the President of the United States does there are also some that have even more access that he does to information. Birthers seem to forget the whole thing of people being able to keep secrets which just a slight hint, they aren't. I think Benjamin Franklin said it best in order for three people to keep a secret two of them need to be dead.

 

Obama could provide his to the public. He was born before 2001.

He doesnt need the state of Hawaii. He could do it himself, unless he doesnt have it...

 

And he did- in 2011. After requesting a special exemption from the State of Hawaii.

And Hawaii confirmed it- again and again. By my count the State of Hawaii has confirmed that Barack Obama was born there, and his birth certificates are authentic 3 times now- by three different officials.

 

Which is entirely possible. I'm 30 years old and I lost mine five years ago during a move. Haven't had need of it so I haven't pursued a replacement or copy.

 

Oh, he has one all right. He mentioned it in his book.

Though, why he would have to send back to Hawaii to get another one when he already had that one just raises more questions.
