New York vs Florida, who do you think handled COVID 19 better?

I am of the belief that a powerful case has been presented in this video that Florida actually handled the COVID 19 pandemic far better than New York did?

This is especially relevant considering that the State of Florida is allowing people to take personal responsibility and breathe fresh air there!

Apples and oranges really. New York was slammed first when we had a lot less working knowledge on the virus, its abilities, how to treat patients, etc. It is possible that the NYC lock down kept the virus from spreading to other places faster during that period when knowledge was so lacking by fleeing people. One of my city's first known clusters originated with a New Yorker who fled and brought it with him.

My complaints are 1) That the politicization of COVID as a partisan issue was DNC driven and 2) Because of #1, New York purposefully withheld information that was critical to data-driven decision making in other states. They created the illusion that it was safer to return patients to care homes than it was, a decision that likely cost lives.

 

Cuomo and Fauci are both advancing the same agenda of deception.

 

I would so love to be wrong but it appears to me as if many high level politicians and bureaucrats did NOT want to know about any potentially effective treatments for COVID 19 that would potentially decrease the tendency for people to feel dependance on the eventual vaccine that could well earn BigPharma over a trillion dollars..... (not to mention the billions and tens of billions to be made treating the not so fun side effects of the vaccine)????

I would love to be eventually proven to be incorrect on this but it seems as if those who wanted President Trump defeated wanted a greater level of fear regarding COVID 19 so they deliberately made fun of treatments that could have made this pandemic short lived and of no great consequence!

I believe that e-mail correspondence will eventually be made public that will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that many physicians violated the Hypocratic Oath and did NOT attempt to the best of their ability to save the lives of their patients!

The results of the research explained in this video are not really all that complicated!
But......... any low cost reasonably effective treatments that DECREASED our dependence on the vaccine...... was ridiculed no matter how effective that treatment actually was.

 

I agree with the bolded part. As for the rest IDK. One thing we could have done but didn't with already existing technology was implement widespread testing to identify people likely to have runaway cytokine responses and then directed more of our "relief" toward isolating and supporting them.

 

I personally had pneumonia in one lung in 1996 in August - September. In August - September of 1997 and 1998 I had bronchitis again that had all the symptoms of pneumonia and I was unable to work for a month or so. A friend of mine gave me a book on MSM in 1999 and it seemed to help me to detoxify which seemed to greatly boost my immune system. I began to use MSM in 1999 and never again had either pneumonia or bronchitis.

MSM though is low cost and relatively natural so nobody can make a fortune off of it so it is rare for physicians to be aware of how helpful it can be and advise patients to take it because they cannot write prescriptions for it.

Recently I added zinc, D3 and absorbable vitamin C to my regular attempt to boost my immune system. Although I am sixty one I really am not overfly fearful of what COVID 19 will do to me if I eventually do catch it.

Comparing to New York is unreasonable because it was widespread there before we knew it was here. They also have a much higher population density than Florida so it is much easier for it to spread like a wildfire.

Compare Washington, Oregon, or California to Florida. Washington and Oregon, which have population densities similar to Florida, had less than half the number of deaths per million compared to Florida.

And a review county by county shows that the highest infection rates track closely with counties trump won. The redder the county, the more likely they had a high infection rate.

It is amazing really, if you look at a map of counties in the US and where trump won, and compare that to a map of counties showing the infection rates or death rates, the counties with the highest infection/death rates go with trump counties almost 1 to 1 over the entire country. It is almost a perfect match.

 

Knowing the OP is very religious, I have to ask: Did trump kill hundreds of thousands of people by spreading lies or does God just hate republicans?

 

It is hard to get good help these days....
and in my opinion Fauci or whoever it is who advised him..... seemed to be very hesitant to let people know about the types of treatments
that would tend to distract people away from the vaccines that will likely bring in a trillions dollars...... not to mention the side benefits of many further billions and tens of billions on giving meds for the side effects of those same vaccines.......

The reason that Fauci acted as you described is because Fauci & Friends (he has many) have been working on patents for coronavirus SARS for 15 or 20 years.

He acted that way because he and others were conspiring to deceive the public and make vast profits on the current injections marketed by Moderna and Pfizer. He had ulterior motives.
