Yeah...it's been kinda downhill since then for the Broncos.

Only 6 years......Dan Marino retired in 2000, and Dolphins went through 20 years of being average (and probably 15 QBs), until they found Tua. Now things will change, but only if he can stay uninjured. At the moment he can't even play in the pro-bowl due to the latest concussion.

Yeah, it might be time for him (and Brady) to retire, but I think Aaron's still got some football left in him. I just don't know if his heart is still there....

Ahh, I was born in Chicago, so the Blackhawks are one of my favorite hockey teams. For baseball it's the Cubs (shoot me) and Cardinals (I lived in St. Louis for a few years as a kid). I live in the Mid-Arlantic now so the Caps and Canes are my favorite hockey teams and then the Hawks and Blues. I don't have a favorite football team right now, although I was an Oakland Raider fan back when Madden was running the Silver and Black and then became a Redskins fan after Al Davis betrayed Oakland. Now I can't root for them anymore on account of what Daniel Snyder has done to that team. He turned a once proud and respectable franchise into crap and it will continue to be crap as long as he is owner.

It's great to see the Dolphins back in contention. They were my first favorite football team as a kid.

Here's hoping Tua gets over his concussions during the off-season. If Sidney Crosby can do it hopefully Tua can, too.

Yeah...Rodgers probably has some football left in him....but I don't think his hearts in Green Bay anymore.

Rumors tossed around are 49ers....since he's from that area...so is Brady....who knows?

LOL....awww...the Cubs got one World series title...so all good.

Yeah the Raiders back in Maddens day were tough...I was in my teens then.

Redskins OK....(now Commanders)....politically correct you see.......Joe Theismann was great when he was there.

Why did they let Wade Phillips go?

The defense he coached in 2015 was the best D I've ever seen.

I generally don't have a dog in the Superbowl, either, since my football watching is very limited. I'm replying to your mention of the Bronco head coaching vacancy-- I love your perfect choice of graphic, by the way, which looks like a despondently pacing head coach, in the midst of being handed a humiliating loss. But what about the 49er defensive coach? I would be surprised to hear, that he is already ruling out certain offers; on the contrary, I'd imagine he'd take any head coaching job, that came his way.

I pray that you are right. I have been a diehard fan since 1978. Before 2017 never thought I'd see one, now praying for #2

However, I do not like the Eagles chances. Eagles played mediocre/washed up QBs all year. The only above average QB faced was Dak who lit them up. My fear is that Mahomes destroys them from the pocket or with rollouts as Dak did.

Jalen is going to have to have a lot more success passing than he has the prior 3 games

Was sorry to see Bobby Hull pass. Mainly before my time, but one of the all time greats

I think it’s the Chiefs. They had a much harder schedule.
Hurts had 121 passing yards on Sunday, Mahomes, 326.

That's an interesting choice-- KC won the coin toss, but elected to kick off to Philly 1st, so that they can get the ball, to start the second half (after the jitters have subsided, I guess).

So winning the toss, but giving away the ball, was KC's first mistake.

But AVOCADOS score, IMO, on their commercial! Will there be outrage, over the Garden of Eden sacrilege?

Wow! If Philly can't plug those defensive holes (against the run), this won't end well, for the Eagles.

Mahomes injured. That could be game over.

I think the Eagles got robbed, by the officials. That one long pass, that Deyonte somebody caught and held against his helmet at the sideline (near the end of the first half, IIRC), should no way have had its being ruled as a completion, overruled.

And then, the "holding" call on the Eagle defender, at the end, was complete B.S.-- you know what? The Eagle coach should've gambled one of his timeouts on challenging that holding call.

Other than those officials' calls, and the unnecessarily, painted on slipperiness of the field, however, I have to say that it was a more entertaining game, than is often the case, with a lot of good playing (even if both defenses, had a lot of porous moments). But I can much more easily attribute those to good blocks, good cuts, and good offensive play design-- than I can find excuses when, for example, balls go right through the hands, or get dropped, by receivers (which is just one of many errors in fundamentals, that I have come to expect, but which make it hard for me to enjoy a Superbowl or Championship game, when these are frequent occurrences).

So good game-- except that probably the wrong team, won.

I'm glad the Chiefs won, too. The Philly fans who booed the Walter Payton Award winner yesterday got what they deserved. :boo:

    LOL

I don't know if you ever heard about this, but it explains why a lot of people consider Eagles fans the worst sports fans in America:

And last night they angered the Football Gods and got what they deserved after they booed this year's Walter Payton Award winner:

And unlike the Boo-Birds, Dak handled those a-holes with class...

I was really hoping she'd slip off the floating stage and be left hanging from her safety line underneath it while trying to keep lip synching to Umbrella.
I have a low boredom threshold though...
