    American football is an obsession in US and people live and die for College and NFL football. I've never grown into enjoying the games unless I'm actually live at the game watching friends and family in middle and high school competition. It's so different then what Europe is used to....wonder if it's something you have to grow into or if it takes off.

    European football fans are absolutely crazy about their teams and obsession is a rather mild term. There are some NFL fans in Germany but most of the people just want to have a party like in the 1990s in the European NFL.

    Fußball ist eine ernste Sache! (Football is a serious matter!)
