Obama nearly slips getting off Air Force One

You know we have watched him do his jaunt down the stairways since he became President. You know the run down the steps with his arms folded in front of him in the "hey look at me I don't need handrails". Now I go into a LOT of manufacturing plants where you have to watch the safety film before entering and see the signs up "USE HANDRAILS" I think it is a OSHA thing and have exited planes down stairways and the tell you to use the handrails as you go down. It is a matter of safety. Yet Obama does not do so endangering himself as he apparently almost fell the other day. Remember Ford slipping several times?

As long as nobody gets fired because Obama is too stupid or arrogant to use handrails at his age I really don't care if he does a Gerald Ford style header and perhaps lose his front teeth. Well, that's not strictly true. Actually I do care enough that I would laugh about it.

Not sure there has been a president who has not slipped on those stairs....

but I don't understand why he always tries that "I'm just a casual everyday guy" jog down those stairs.

For the few who think he's cool... jogging down stairs isn't going to increase that coolness.

 

Guess some secret service guy is getting fired for forgetting to tell Obama to spit out his gum first...

Next question on everyone's mind is obviously... Does Obama learn from his mistakes? The obvious answer is - hell no. Hopefully, one of his handlers may try and teach him to use the handle next time.

You think it stupid to teach people to use the handrails and not run down steps or stairs? Why then do all the OSHA approved safety films I have to watch explicitly state use handrails?

Good God he needs to be more careful! We don't want the Messiah falling down stairs. He could have a fatal injury from that and then just think of who takes over. While I'm not a fan of Bam Bam, his "back-up" is not an option I want to think about.

Very rare that I ever agree with you Nat, but I do this time. I may dislike the guy but I don't want my Commander in Chief bust his face. That's just not cool.

 

YOU brought it up not me and that was the first that popped up. And it's not just the proper use of the handrails it's the running down the steps that violations safety regulations.

 

And we all know Conservatives are super big on regulations.
