Oh Dennis, I'm sorry you dug this one out. He actually did one better...a couple years ago.

Before he was even running because that is the kind of guy he is despite the MSM trying to paint him otherwise.

And another source if you don't care for Fox.

Just to give this one a bump, and because the involvement of Trump makes it very relevant.

Trump, quietly gave this guy 25k.

Meanwhile put that against the narrative the left and their media allies are trying to spin.

Did the Obamas or Clintons do anything similar for him?

How do you know he didn't speak to them about this Marine?

Did Trump mention him during his photo-op today?

I don't think so, but why would he need to after proving his generosity and caring a couple years ago.

25K. Quietly. Before he was running for anything.

What did Obama and Hillary give?

Well if I had shown that much interest 2yrs ago, surely I would say something if I am meeting the man face to face.

So should they give money to every American who broke the law and was arrested.

Well, maybe he did who knows. I certainly don't know what they discussed, and neither does anyone who wasn't there. I do know he seemed to care enough to write a check, and not seek fanfare for it. This is the guy the MSM is trying to demonize.

LOL...no of course not. This is just a little lesson in compassion and caring for a vet. When I see this story, it makes me believe he truly wants to help them and that it's not just a soundbyte.

Ok, so how do you guys know the Pres. hasn't spoken with him on this matter.

Ah so you pick and chose which Vets are worthy of support. Donald Trump called Sen. McCain a "phony hero" and mocked him being a POW and republicans/conservatives were ok with that.

Saxby Chambliss, Sen GA had 5 deferments during Vietnam and later attacked Sen. Max Cleland a man who lost an arm and both legs in the Vietnam War and republicans/conservatives were ok with that and elected him.

So do you guys really support veterans or do you just pick and choose the ones you want to support.

How much money have you given to his cause?

Didn't see it when I did some google searching....the same google searching that turned up the 25K I had no idea about. If you can find one, I'll gladly read it.

    LOL...typical of the Left wing.

Heres a guy you are trying to demonize, who quetly took 25K out of his pocket for a Veteran, and you guys just HAVE to find a way to smear it. You should be ashamed. This is a good man who did something out of the goodness of his heart. he didn't have to do anything, cameras weren't on trump in 2014.....

    It was a genuine act.

Was he still in the Marines at the time of his arrest?

He isn't even in jail anymore is he?

Was he arrested in Georgia on drunk driving charges?

I haven't criticized him one time for his donation to this guy's release.

    For?

The cameras were on him when he criticized a man who spent what yrs in a Vietnam POW camp while his coward ass was getting deferments.

It was, but does that give him a pass on attacking a POW.

I still get pist when I think of what that Marine went thru just b/c he had made a wrong turn and ended up in that (*)(*)(*)(*)hole country. He told the Mexican cop the mistake he made, asked for help in getting back here and they arrested him.....and we all know the rest of the story.

"But, but....golly, oh dear! He was arrested on a DUI"!

Yeah, good old drunken, cowardly Ted Kennedy. He ran away from the sunken car and ran right past a fire station, where the men there would have gotten her out, but he wasn't interested in that - he only cared about calling his attorney to put together a damage control story.

Can you tell me a time when Ted Kennedy has attacked a POW of a foreign war.
