Well, Canada gov got out of the way in the 90's, that brought down their debt. But hell, we can go with what has been failing all across the world since early 1900's, redistrobution of wealth through welfare. Sad part is, the more you give the poor a rich mans money, the faster the poor spend that money and give it back to the rich man.
Why do you need math or some super secret book to tell you the Government doesn't create wealth, it's citizens do. The Government steals money from it's citizens and spends it on stupid (*)(*)(*)(*), of course that's not enough for these scrubs so they " borrow" trillions more in your name. Newsflash man, citizens will survive without the government holding your hand through life, government needs to get the he'll out of the way and let the economy of it's citizens grow normally.
Government doesn't create wealth, but it sure as hell protects it? So if you create an invention and I steal it. Who do you run to? If I sign a contract to pay you for something and I refuse. Who do you run to? If I steal money from you, who do you run to? Government protects the wealth of business, enforces contracts, provides a framework in which we have a legal tender or national currency. Stop with the government should get the hell out of the way nonsense. Yes, I think the government should be trimmed in spots. Everyone does. But to think it should essentially stand in the background and let business thrive on it's own is nonsense. I tell you what, give me some specific examples of how government is ruining the growth of our economy. BTW, I think Ron Paul gave us the truth about Rick Perry in the last debate.
