Phillies were hot AF and could have potentially still taken it yesterday and today. Devastating game 3, wasn’t it? Surprising those two wins W and R were to me, especially the R game. Wicked game 5 all the way down to the bottom of the 9th: intense.

I think that deal is going to be a bust for the Rangers. Too many years/$$$ for a 34 yo pitcher with too many injuries in recent years. Obviously when healthy, arguably the best pitcher in baseball

Definitely set the bar for JV...
JV should get more (per year) than Scherzer (3yrs/$130)...

Jacob deGrom megadeal shows that even the mistakes are bigger in Texas

I fer sure do not understand player compensation in this sport....

I'm kinda familiar with the Stros, living here and with their success having piqued my interest in this sport.

The discrepancy is glaring between Altuve's performance/compensation and Peña's performance/compensation in this year's post-season, as I'm sure is but one example.

Javier, this guy - holy smoke, nicknamed the Reptile for always keeping his cool, or cold blooded.

Bummer to see Brantley might not be coming back.

    Curious where JV ends up.

If both he and Cole were at the NYY, hmmm, I might have to get a Yankees cap....

Springer has already tempted me to get a Blue Jays cap....

Can't wait til October, looks like I'll likely have to find a fave besides the Stros next year.
