Which means what exactly? That you'll still get infected, you just might not die. Laughable. Hence why all of the folks I know, currently with COVID are fully vaccinated, and boosted. This is the BS that creates passable "science" and yet, clearly, these pills do nothing to prevent someone from being infected in the first place which is, by definition, a vaccination. Oh, wait, CDC changed it. Why? Wasn't Pfizer having serious financial problems before the government bought all of their stock of vaccines? And now, magic, they're doing great. This is lunacy. And of course, the actual field observable data suggests that the shots, as well as boosters are almost entirely non effective against Omicron. Which substantively then creates the "fear" that supports the agenda of lockdowns or other draconian BS that you're all whoo hoo about.

So, the real issue here is that your post doesn't actually tell us anything. With Omicron, no one seems to be either hospitalized or dying. That seem problematic then for marketing the "effectiveness" of the pill. As in, doesn't do anything useful. So why take it? Your citation doesn't mention anything about how the pill would keep you from acquiring omicron, but in the scheme of things, why wouldn't it be the best possible solution to attain herd immunity. And isn't that what Pfizer fears the most? Not being needed? That really seems to be the true conversation here.

 

Some of the science is suggesting you're giving up future immunity development. Wonder why that's not getting more airplay from the media who seem to share a lot of board members with big pharma these days... I guess that you just missed these inconvenient facts.

The CDC statistics for the last two years indicates that vaccines have zero effect on the common cold viruses.
Actually it even looks like all vaccinations efforts caused more deaths in 2021 then in 2020.

There is no large sample data (other then sporadic pseudoscientific studies) that demonstrate positive vaccine effect on the population of the United States.

That doesn't mean it will be widely available, hopefully it will be by mid to end January. The demand for this pill will be astronomical. I bet that EVERY anti-vaxxer will want it when they get sick with covid.
