(Biden is a dead man walking). Now that America has tasted extreme environmentalism, combined with an oppressive atmosphere of “Wokeness”, foisted upon us by a caricature of a president who really was Mr. Middle, but lacked the cognitive ability to take control. Newsom is a rich pretty boy raised under the wing of the Getty family. He never had to look at his checkbook as he presided over the chaos in San Francisco, and lusted to take it statewide. There is no human activity at any age that Newsom will say “No” to beyond murder. Productive people are leaving and being replaced with welfare grifters, infrastructure funds are siphoned off for homeless shelters, NGO’s*, and shady “XYZ organizations” while our state is physically disintegrating along with public order. There are much better people that could do the job. You seem to think that careening from one extreme to another like a spastic top is a good way to run the country, but I don't. Someone like Romney or Warren would be much better for the US at this time. Pandering to extremes is just going to leave half the country more rebellious, no matter who wins.
Florida needs DeSantis more than the nation does. The federal government is completely out of control. At least there is some hope that the states can throw off the federal yoke. Competent leadership like DeSantis would be helpful.
If there's an opinion that doesn't deserve attention, it's one from a California paper. California hasn't done anything right in decades.
