    Pilots on PF:

Just recently, a private, rather upscale business-style propeller-powered airplane from New York enroute to Florida, lost cabin pressure, overflew Cuba and crashed into the ocean around Jamaica. Before crashing, the pilot and his wife fell victim to hypoxia and passed away due to oxygen deprivation.

Do not all airplanes that cruise at high altitudes have reserve oxygen (oxygen masks like on airliners)?

    Curious.

    Thanks

I think the cabins are pressurized at altitude.. even for planes like the Cessna 421 Golden Eagle.

I thought it was mandatory to have oxygen masks on a plane. Maybe I am wrong.
