Einstein used the word "God" as a metaphor for Nature.

So, the gates of hell are a living active military force. Someone should make a movie about that.

Now you know that we do not define god the same way.

Yours is a supernatural piece of genocidal garbage and mine is a moral entity.

All my arguments serve me well. Enjoy learning what decent morals are.

Did you want to discus the immoral Jesus as your scapegoat ridding ideology you favor?

That first is an outright lie, --- as the biblical authors are not known, --- and you have not named the powerful entity that would be god's co-creator.

Liars do not care about real facts.

Look at all the **** he has god saying.

You are correct and the original Christianity would have agreed with you.

I still read that naturalism in the bible.

Christians are blinded by the great genocidal light.

Says the unbeliever of the Christian faith who is a self-proclaimed expert of the faith...lol

Just a few statements I make and in your biased opinions my whole knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith is weak and exceptionally poor....my my what a tough critic...lol

So of course I will ignore your baseless biased opinions here.

Where in my post above have I made a claim stating what I posted above is agreed upon by all of Christianity as the last word of scripture? You have a real bad habit of putting words into people's mouth that they haven't expressed, it's called spinning the truth, it can also be called misinterpreting what you've read, a common consistent bad habit of yours.

Well let's just say there are indeed Christians who believe that one is "saved" through faith alone and others who believe one is "saved" through faith combined with works.

Technically no, it was not Paul's doctrine, but it's our Creator Almighty God's doctrine because it's all there written in Scripture. The Bible teaches that we are not saved by works, but by God’s grace through His gift of faith, again I repeat it's all written in the Scriptures and Paul was just an instrument, a messenger if you will to help believers in understanding this fundamental biblical truth, it wasn't him establishing a doctrine of his own.

Well I will continue later on to respond to other comments you've made in this post of yours in a wee bit so do standby.

I could say I believe in salvation by faith, because I believe that faith automatically leads to works.

What a pile of rubbish -- you spend the first part of the post in a desperate attempt to demonize the messenger - pretending that you do not agree with "Sola Fide" .. then spend the rest of your post trying to defend "Sola Fide"

Then you laughably claim that this doctrine comes not from Pauline Scripture - because everything Paul Wrote Came from God -along with the rest of the Bible .. a ridiculously circular pile of rubbish in an effort to claim that Sola Fide comes from God.

Sola Fide comes from your idol Martin Luther Mate - not my fault Jesus denies this "Sola" -

You claim " what I posted above is agreed upon by all of Christianity" when it turns out that the majority of Christianity denies Sola Fide - "Salvation by Faith Alone"

    Next question ?

I believe that when our Savior, Creator of the Universe , in the flesh, here on Earth, was hung on that cross, that he suffered more than just the physical pain, but that he suffered the horrors and the stench of all sin, all that ever was, and all that would ever be.

Our Creator Almighty God is essentially the author of the Holy Bible. That's why we Christians refer to the Holy Bible as the "Word of God".

Over hundreds of years, Our Creator Almighty God chose certain individuals to write down exactly what He wanted to tell humankind. This process is called "inspiration." One of Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ's closest followers, Peter wrote:

    We Read in Scripture:

20 Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, 21 or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:20-21 NLT

And in the Book of 2 Timothy the Apostle Paul reminded his student, Timothy, that:

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT

So all the writings from the Books that the Apostle Paul wrote were not from Paul's own understanding or human initiative, he was moved by the Holy Spirit to write down what he wrote and he spoke from Our Creator Almighty God. And this goes for all the other writers from all the other Books in the Scriptures of the Holy Bible as well.

Now regarding the topic of Salvation from faith.

    We Read in Scripture:

8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

So basically the verse above from Scripture is telling us that we are not saved by works, but by God’s grace through His gift of faith.

So I'm backing everything I'm saying from the Scriptures of the Holy Bible whereas you being an unbeliever of the Christian faith have no where to go to back yourself, the only thing you have is to deny what's written in the Scriptures of the Holy Bible which is the Word of God.

To deny what's written in the Scriptures of the Holy Bible is to deny Our Creator Almighty God's Word. That would be blasphemy, a grave sin.

    We Read in Scripture:

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ said,

31 “So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come. Matthew 12:31-32 NLT

That claim that every word of the Bible is "God Breathed" inerrant word of God has been proven false to you countless times, by many different posters .. yet you return to the same vomit - as if this is your first time round this merry go round.

This claim is so preposterous - the vast majority of Christianity does not accept the literalist position.

What ridiculous about this claim -- is that when you are told Gods word" says from the Bible for example - the Depiction of YHWH as a xenophobic flip flopping genocidal maniac with the most petty and nasty of human characteristics.. you jump up and protest crying NO NO NO .. that is not Gods word .. .. and all of a sudden the Bible is no longer "God's Word"

In other cases - such as the words of Jesus in his most famous Sermon on the Mount Matt 5-7 - you run from God's word - desperately trying to avoid "Gods word" - in all manner of mind twisting methods .. in the nature of the stuff programmed into cult adherents.

One question refutes this nonsensical claim .. "Which Bible and which story" - as soon as you answer which Bible - I can give you a story in another Bible that is different - significantly such that only one can be "God's Word"

So Mitt .. Which Bible do you fancy as "God's Word" - so we can dispel this literalist fallacy once and for all.

"All the different Bibles are God's word. God is in inconsistent and transcends logic and reason. "

Modern Gnostic Christians name our god "I am", and yes, we do mean ourselves.

You are your controller. I am mine. You represent and present whatever mind picture you have of your God or ideal human, and so do I.

The name "I Am" you might see as meaning something like, --- I think I have grown up thanks to having forced my apotheosis through Gnosis and meditation and “I am”, represents the best rules and laws that we have found to live by.

In Gnostic Christianity, we follow the Christian tradition that Christians have forgotten that they are to do. That is, become brethren to Jesus.

That is why some say that the only good Christian is a Gnostic Christian.

Here is the real way to salvation that Jesus taught.

Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Allan Watts explain those quotes in detail.

Joseph Campbell shows the same esoteric ecumenist idea in this link.

The bible just plainly says to put away the things of children. The supernatural and literal reading of myths.

Care to chat on why you have to sin to be saved?

Or do you just ignore that abdicating your responsibility for your sins is a sin?

    Most Christian moral cowards do.

My question has do with the idea "Jesus died for our sins." which I hear almost constantly from zealots and my addition to that is "So What? " In the 2000 years since Jesus I would think that at least two MILLIONS of we poor long-suffering devotees have died for Jesus. So enough already. Yeh, Jesus died for our sins . The balance is even, we're square let go willya?

This is a tough question, answer it please.

Well supposing there was only one Bible written in the original texts. Then how would all the people of the world get the messages that Our Creator Almighty God gave to humankind written in the original texts?...answer...they wouldn't. Only the people who could understand the language of the original texts which were written in Hebrew would receive the messages.

We humans are the ones inconsistent in the regard that we don't all speak and understand the Hebrew language. There are roughly 6,500 different languages spoken throughout the world. There was indeed a need for all the different Bibles translated from the original texts into a person's spoken language.

There are many different versions of the Bible with new translations coming out all the time, it seems—and sometimes it’s hard for Christians to agree on which one is best to use.

Different churches recommend different translations, and many church-goers simply go with the version being preached in the pulpit. The good news is that Christians don’t have to agree on one translation of the Bible.

Because of language barriers, it’s impossible for all Christians worldwide to agree on one Bible. If we all agreed that the KJV (for example) is the one true Bible, then what are Christians to read who speak Marathi or Shona? There’s no such thing as King James Zulu or King James Papiamento. Non-English translations have to be made, and there’s nothing more “inspired” about a translation in English than a translation in, say, Cebuano.

But even though we have all these different Bibles with all these different translations the messages remain consistent in accord with the original texts. The fundamental core beliefs of the Christian religion which is reflected by all the Bibles is that:

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is equal with God.

    We Read in Scripture:

49 Then Nathanael exclaimed, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God—the King of Israel!” John 1:49 NLT

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life.

    We Read in Scripture:

15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. Hebrews 4:15 NLT

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ was crucified to pay the penalty for our sins.

    We Read in Scripture:

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ said,

28 for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many. Matthew 26:28 NLT

2 It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.
3 I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. 4 He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. 1 Corinthians 15:2-4 NLT

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

    We Read in Scripture:

6 but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body. Mark 16:6 NLT

We are saved by the grace of God; that is, we cannot add to or take away from Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for our sin.

    We Read in Scripture:

8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

One last point I will make here before I go on my merrily way. Below I will quote just three (I could quote more and the results will be the same so 3 will suffice here) different Bibles translated into English to make the point that although all three are using different wording within the verses, the message is the same and not different.

8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT NKJV

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV

So notice how the NLT, NKJV and the ESV Bibles are not using exact wording, they are all different but the message is the same and that message is:

We are not saved by works, but by God’s grace through His gift of faith.

So in conclusion all the different Bibles are God's Word and no, Our Creator Almighty God is not, I repeat is not inconsistent!

I answered you already Alek. You had asked me something similar back on New Years day 2014 and I answered those questions this year back in Feb. So why didn't you take notes?
