I can only tell you what I know, which is that God is real, he lives and is divine. I also know that we have all forgotten him, which is why people seek him. I would suggest that you contact the Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that they are his servants.

You have not been able to tell me anything about your God .. and nor were the Missionaries you refer to able to help.

All you have revealed is that you have a Spirit guide .. and that you think because of this guide you know God .. when in reality this guide could well be representing someone else .. these Saints you refer to .. servants of the decepticon , who rules over the earth .. and as such is in control of the spirits with which you commune.

For me to say any more would be a waste of both of our times.

You could at least admit that you don’t really know, you believe.

There is a difference between believing something and knowing something. In Matthew 16, Jesus asked his Disciples who men say he is. They answered that men say you are this or that Prophet. Then Jesus asked, but who do YOU say I am. Peter answered, thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus responded by saying, blessed art thou for flesh hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which art in heaven. And upon this rock(revelation from the Father) I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Iow, Peter knew by revelation from God the Father which cannot be undone by sophistry. So there is a difference between believing and knowing, between believing what is said and knowing the truth for oneself. I know by revelation from Gods spirit that God lives. It doesn't come from hearing or reading or concluding or from "flesh." It is not of this world. I know it was Gods spirit because I recognized and remembered his spirit. This is how I know that everyone actually knows God but has forgotten him just as I did until I was awakened to a remembrance of him by his spirit. This is why I say that my true life is in him by the power and life of his divinity rather than in myself or my life alone. It's also why I liken mortality to a dream that we think is real until we awaken, leaving the dream behind, to go about the business of living. To this I admit, that God lives, and Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. This doesn't make me great, but smaller than I've ever been. But at least I know my place and have no need for the philosophies or gods of men. So even if I die, I will die on this place, at the feet of my God.

Finally something on which we can agree .. given this persistent deflection from addressing questions relating to the identity of this God it is that you worship.

Perhaps on a different subject you might be more comfortable .. you mentioned seeking out missionaries from the church of Jesus Christ .. which I thought was odd .. because you don't worship the God of Jesus. What help then are these missionaries going to be ? what God will they be telling me about ?

Of course, this is your biased opinion from a person who claims to be an agnostic.

Well, let's just be honest and say his character whatever it is didn't stop him from doing a fantastic job overall as our 45th President of these United States. Compared to what we have now with President Bidenomics I'd say the American people made a huge mistake in not re-electing President Trump. He was surely deserving of a 2nd term based on his successful 1st term. But I can see him getting his 2nd term by winning the next presidential election next November. The American people won't make two mistakes in a row providing the election doesn't get rigged by the dems and we have a fair and honest election across the entire country.

And furthermore, there are many who believe the dems stole the election and cheated. There were a lot of shenanigans and improprieties going on in that last election with the dems and so I wouldn't say the reason he lost was because of his character, now that's debatable.

Again, you're expressing your biased opinion. President Trump has shown that he is against abortion, which is murder according to the Holy Bible, while President Bidenomics and his dems are for abortion and some of them are so extreme that they even want to abort/murder a baby right after birth if they had their way.

Just this issue alone makes President Bidenomics more immoral than President Trump. Do you want to change your opinion?

Ok thanks dairy for your post it was a pleasure for me to respond to it.

No I used Peter and Jesus as an example. I actually know for myself that God lives, just like Peter knew who Jesus is as a result of a revelation from God the Father. Aren't you cognizant of the difference between believing something and knowing something? You can believe the paper towels are in the pantry. And when you look, if they are there, then you know the paper towels are in the pantry. If your Wife asks, if you know where the paper towels are at. Would you say you believe they are in the pantry. Or would you state with certainty that they are in the pantry. Your Wife didn't ask what you believe. She asked what you know.

You should upgrade your knowledge if you don't understand the history of the bible, Judaism and it's relation to christianity.

Then you might avoid bringing god into a topic about trump and his immorality christians support. Or you, anyways.

Exactly! You don’t know there is paper towel in the pantry, you just have a bunch of emotions that make you think you know. You haven’t seen the paper towel, you have had a revelation in your mind that the paper towel is in the pantry. You didn’t actually go there and see for yourself. You’re sitting in the living room trying to convince everyone there is paper towel in the pantry based on your hallucination even though you’ve never been there.

I don't know from people or writings that God lives. I know from Gods spirit himself that he does. One must know for ones own self. Otherwise one is like the foolish virgins in Jesus's parable who had no oil of their own, and were closed out from the ceremony.

"Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not." Matthew 25

I've said what I know, not what I believe. And I'm not given to gossip, rumors, or wild goose chases. Especially in a matter as important as God and the eternal welfare of our souls.

No, you have stated what you believe.

If you had knowledge you would be able to present irrefutable and objective evidence for it. You can't.

How can you repeatedly and knowingly restate my words wrongly in good conscience? That is lying to my face about my own words, no less. It is highly insulting. Have you no honor? I can't help that I know that which you do not. How can I recreate an act created by God. I am not the source of his miracle.I am not God. I am the recipient of his miracle. So all I can do is bear witness to it. I know that God lives because of what he caused to happen, which is to send his spirit to know me and awaken me to a remembrance of him. And it isn't what I believe but what I know. I don't believe I had tuna salad and chips for lunch as if maybe I didn't. I know I had tuna salad and chips for lunch because that is the truth, and I know it.

Preceeded by a number of posts by WillReadmore criticizing Christians for supporting Trump
    WillReadmore said:
He has gotten MAJOR political support from Christian groups throughout the USA.
They speak loudly of our social situation, THEN they pick Trump.

    Then you said:
Hypocrites is a word that comes to mind

    Then I said:
Hypocrite for what, for believing in God and supporting Trump for President. Where's the hypocrisy. Better yet, which contender for the office is a perfect man?

So you indeed led off this conversational tangent by interjecting yourself in my back and forth with WillReadmore regarding Trumps support from Christians, thus you condemned Trump and his supporters. And so I responded to you. Then you continued on for a number of posts railing about Trump and his supporters. And btw, I've stated a number of times that I'm not a Trump supporter. I swear you guys are poisoned with hatred and propaganda by watching CNN and MSNBC.

I agree but that doesn't necessarily makes their opinion right, let's not forget opinions are not necessarily facts...do I get an amen?

Why do you say in many people's opinion? Have you taken some kind of survey or something to come up with that?...I seriously doubt that. Just be honest, and say in your opinion.

Your opinion is flawed, it doesn't make sense, essentially what you're saying is that if Christians support anyone for anything they are hypocrites, because the truth to the matter is it's a fact that everyone is a sinner. So, if Christians supported someone else other than Trump they would still be hypocrites according to your reasoning.

So should Christians just stay home and not vote at all?...lol That would be ludicrous.

People no matter who they are or what their beliefs are should vote for someone if they are an American citizen of legal age to vote and are registered to vote, and mind you we are not voting for a saint...lol For there is no one out there that fits the bill, again let's not forget this fact, everyone is a sinner, no one is perfectly moral, we are all imperfect beings. We all have our own imperfections.

But we have to support someone, we have to vote for someone, vote for someone who you agree with in their policies they say they will implement if they get elected.

President Trump said the first things he will do if elected will be to close down our southern border to stop the flow of people illegally coming into our country and he also said he would start drilling again for oil to make us once again energy independent. These two policies alone would make our country great again. We will see our gas prices plummet, inflation will start to go down, our country will be more secure with a closed border. Another thing President Trump will do would be to deport all those people who illegally entered into this country during President Bidenomics watch.

As for President Bidenomics, he will essentially do the same things, keep the border wide open allowing millions to enter illegally, keep us energy dependent on other countries for our oil, keep pushing Americans to buy electric cars that Americans don't want to buy, keep spending oodles of money we don't have....etc. So if you like President Bidenomics policies then vote for him.

So voting is very important for all citizens because what these people in political positions do affect all citizens of the country. I would hope most people would want leaders to lead the country in a positive way that keeps the majority happy and secured in their personal lives.

Ok dairy thanks for your post, I hope my response helps you to realize your mistake in painting a broad brush depicting Christians as being hypocrites.

I think that to categorize Trump as being just another sinner like any other is a cop out.

First, we know unequivocally that Trump and his family have committed fraud time and again.
Second, we know that he sexually assaulted women.
Third, we know that he and his ilk plotted to overthrow the government of the USA.

I think there is a growing movement among Christians to steer away from Trump fanaticism due to the poor example he sets for Christians, because of the mental acrobatics people do to defend his nonsense.

Personally, I am not Christian but were I a Christian I would probably not participate in voting. Why? Because Christians have been advised to place their trust and faith in God’s Kingdom which stands in contrast to man made government. By choosing to consume fruit in the garden, Adam called into question God’s authority and benevolence. Choosing to vote or support government is to disregard the rightful sovereign over the earth and try to solve problems the way humans do.

For example, you could think you are doing the right thing by voting for a politician because you agree with A, B and C. You are also supporting D and E too. Now A could be feeding the hungry, B could healing the sick and C could be raising the dead. Great. But D could be killing orphans and E could be ignoring the suffering of widows.

Either you place your faith in God’s kingdom or you place your faith in organizations of men. What is the source of salvation for all men?
