About 30 percent of the Bible is devoted to prophecy. That fact validates the importance of what has become a neglected subject. In marked contrast, prophecy is completely absent from the Koran, the Hindu Vedas, the Baghavad Gita,
the Ramayana, the sayings of Buddha or Confucius, the Book of Mormon, or any other writings of the world’s religions. This fact alone provides an undeniable stamp of divine approval upon the Judeo-Christian faith, which all other faiths lack. Biblical prophecy’s unblemished record of fulfillment is sufficient to authenticate the Bible, in distinction to all other writings, as the one and only inerrant Word of God.

So you disagree with those Christians who say God is not within the sinner? Ok. Nice.

what is this fallacious God of Everything Mitt ? Who is this God ?.. as you are not a follower of the God of Jesus - "The Father" - Hallowed be thy name that you are not privy - so who is this God of everywhere Brother Mitt .. Everywhere on Earth .. is that what you mean The Chief God of the Earth Lord Ha Satan .. .. that old tester of Souls ... is this your God ? .. or is it one of the previous deposed Chief Gods .. Yahu of the Shasu .. call him Yah for short .. Jah Rastafa even better.

Can you not identify your God for us Mitt .. know you not the Hallowed name .. thy Kingdom come .. thy will be done on earth .. as it is in heaven.

Tough question I know Brother Mitt .. but you must seek the Truth .. with open heart and not closed mind !

You don't know anything of the sort Brother Todd .. certainly not with this brash defacto certainty you are fallaciously claiming topped off by a false conclusion .. such that even if the shroud is the imprint of the crucified Christ -- that does not prove the resurrection .. .. in fact its not even evidence for the resurrection of much note never mind "proof" .. that is just absurd .. you have one fallacy stacked on another hoping some Truth is going to come out the other end ..

Absolute rubbish. Most of the Biblical prophesy can be proved to have been written at the time or later. Much of it is simply reading a situation before it occurs. Isaiah didn't 'prophesy' the Babylonian exile. Israel were under the thumb of the Babylonians. As long as they behaved they were OK. When they signed a deal with Egypt Isaiah could see where it would lead and warned them They ignored him and consequently suffered the usual punishment for those days. Exile of many people. Ditto Jeremiah wioth the Assyrians. Jonah and the fall of Nineveh was written after the fall and after the Hebrews were in Babylon. Up to then they believed that Jahweh dwelt in Jerusalem and was confined to Judea - their homeland. That's why David asked Saul not to chase him out of God's prescence - Judea. After they were in Babylon they realised Jahweh was not confined. Before that no Jonah would have been sent to Nineveh 600 miles away and out of Jahwehs supposed reach. It was just a story. Daniel is simply a book of stories in the first half and the second half was written during the Hasmonean Kingdoms history as it happened. Nothing in the Pentatuech is relevant as it is all fictitious- a story to give the Hebrews an origin. A story full of errors for the period it supposedly covers.

What's the point. They are all vetted by you to see if you agree with them first.

    The problems with Daniel.
    • Errors in the depiction of the Persian court

    • Errors in the sequence of Babylonian and Persian rulers, including a significant role by the fictitious "Darius the Mede"

    • Chronological errors and contradictions throughout, suggesting a complicated literary history rather than a historical basis

    • Accurate descriptions of regional second-century political events leading up to 167 BCE

    • Lack of knowledge regarding events from 164 onward, notably including the death of Antiochus IV

    • Presence of late Persian and Greek loanwords

    • Lack of attestation for Daniel (both the character and the book) prior to the late second or first century BCE

    • Genre considerations: Much of Daniel is written as an apocalypse, a genre that didn't exist before the 2nd century BCE.

    • Theology considerations: Theological developments like named archangels and an eschatological resurrection emerged very late in Judaism, and cannot be found in earlier biblical writings (even post-exilic ones).
There is little, if anything, that commends the traditional sixth-century dating. CaptainHaddock

First, let me rephrase: "Our Creator Almighty God is Omnipresent and so He is present everywhere at all times."

Secondly, we have all sinned, no one is without sin. So, we are all sinners. So that's what we all have in common...Christians and non-Christians alike. But the stark difference is that we Christians admit to our sins and have asked God for forgiveness of them whereas non-Christians especially the atheist group believe there is no such thing as sin since they don't believe in God's existence.

Third, since God is Omnipresent it should serve to remind us that we cannot hide from Him when we have sinned, yet we can return to Him in repentance and faith without even having to move.

    We Read in Scripture:

    16 For I will not fight against you forever;
I will not always be angry.
If I were, all people would pass away—
all the souls I have made. Isaiah 57:16 NLT

In summary, I hope what I have presented gave you a much clearer understanding of Almighty God's Omnipresence. He is also Omnipotent and Omniscient.

Do you have misunderstandings/misconceptions of those other two attributes of Almighty God? Let me know if you do, I will try to clear up things for you as best as I can.

Ok thanks Kode for your post.

That's not what the story in Genesis 18 says, nor the story in Genesis 3:8-10, nor when Cainan was protected from retribution after he killed his brother Abel (Genesis 4).

Is that a different god to the ones described in Genesis 18 & 3 & 4 which weren't omnipresent or omniscient?
And 1Tim 4:9-11 says that unbelievers are saved anyway.

You're referring to the ten plagues of Egypt. As we learn from reading Scripture the tenth and last plague, was the plague of the death of the firstborn males.

I suspect that a non-believer such as yourself JET would not have any idea what was the meaning and purpose of the ten plagues of Egypt, in your uninformed disbelieving mind all you can see is a fairy tale story.

I will present a video from my favorite Christian Ministry, they answer the question, "What was the meaning and purpose of the ten plagues of Egypt?"

Hopefully after viewing this video you come away with a much clearer understanding of this true life historical event...the ten plagues of Egypt.

As one reads the Bible they will discover that anything that God does has profound meaning and purpose behind it that serves as lessons to be learned and convicting messages to be conveyed.

Ok thanks JET for your post.

No surprise. A strawman fallacy. lol

True life historical event? How about telling us why the Egyptians who were great record keepers have no records of their firstborn being killed by a supernatural God? And please if you want to quote something use real archiology. Not the pseudo stuff.

Actually it was recorded... butliketodays media, the Egyptians didn't acknowledge or record negative stories about themselves.

What is the 'armor of God" and why do we need it if we are Christians?

The ten plagues were the result of natural circumstances. https://www.history.com/news/10-plagues-egypt-causes. Usually caused by the Nile drying up. The waters of the Nile depends on heavy rains 3000 miles away in the mountains of Africa If those rains fail for several years there isvirtually no water for the Nile. This has been recorded. in ancient history.

This is so typical of the way you people engage in debate, i.e., throwing out [excrement] in the hope it sticks. The Ipuwer Papyrus says nothing about the death of first born in Egypt.

Why did Moses and his five million or so relatives wander aimlessly around the middle eastern deserts for forty years before Joshua and his band of murdering thugs butchered all the women and children and unborn in Jericho and Ai and Hebron etc and stole their land?

All of these millions of people in the desert for 40 years and and no artifacts can be found. lol The Mana from Heaven certainly sounds like BS to me but for those interested in the Mana claim it is addressed in one or more of Emmanual Velikovsky;s books.
