Who was the forked tonged snake told you that falsehood Brother Todd ? Supernatural indeed these voices from the dark.

Ezekiel 30:10-11 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. He and his army – the most ruthless of nations – will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.”

FAIL: Ezekiel predicts that Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon will conquer Egypt utterly destroying it, slaying and scattering its people. In 568 BCE Nebuchadnezzar tried to conquer Egypt and Egypt survived with no apparent damage. Aahmes ruled for another generation over a prosperous Egypt and lived to see Nebuchadnezzar die. The Egyptians were not scattered or dispersed.

Ezekiel 29:10-11 “therefore I am against you and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt a ruin and a desolate waste from Migdol to Aswan, as far as the border of Cush. The foot of neither man nor beast will pass through it; no one will live there for forty years.”

FAIL: Never in its long history has Egypt been uninhabited for forty years.

First of all let me correct you here, our first dad Adam did not have parents let alone a grandmother because he was the first human being created by our Creator Almighty God who formed Adam from the dust of the ground. He then breathed the breath of life into the man's nostrils, and the man Adam became a living person.

    We Read in Scripture:

7 Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. Genesis 2:7 NLT

Furthermore he, Adam did not write the book of Job and so it doesn't make sense why you bring up Adam and a grandmother that he never had being that she never existed at all.

Secondly, Jewish tradition regards Moses as the author of the book of Job others have suggested Job himself as being the author.

Now as to when the book of Job was written it is uncertain, though some of the events recorded and vocabulary used suggest it was written during the time of the patriarchs, between 2000 and 1800 BC.

Thirdly, the Middle East region is not a place where many volcanic activity happens. Let me present an article below that collaborates what I've said.

So after reading the article it wouldn't be surprising and it is conceivable that whoever the writer was who wrote the book of Job, they had never experienced seeing an active volcano spewing fire and lava out of the ground being that the region where they lived is not known for volcanic activity.

And so once again how could the author of the book of Job have known this if not for God telling them about this fact approx. 4000 years ago or so that down below, the earth is melted as by fire as we read in Scripture in Job 28:5. And as we all know science has confirmed that the earth's core is hot.

Ok thanks Mitty for your post.

IOW that's just an imaginative fantasy story in a book, given that our aborigines arrived here over 50,000 years ago and described volcanic activity in their "Dream Time" stories which occurred long before the mythical Adam's grandmother was a girl, and the unequivocal scientific fact that the universe is billions of years old.

Not so Brother Mitt .. for it was "the Gods" who created man .. "Let US create Man" .. in OUR Image .. and sorry OUR and US is not God talking to himself .. as just because you don't know "The rest of the story" every person in Abe's time .. down to the end of the Israelites knows that the creation of man was a collective effort amongst the Gods .. and they can name which ones were involved .. which God sent the Flood .. which God saved man from the wrath of the other God ... Which God gave man wisdom in the Garden.

You know naught of what you speak friend forked tongue has deceived you into believing this heretical perspective ... from the demiurge directive.

Now Mitt pay attention - Man was formed out of the Earth .. as in "Earthling" clay used in the artificial insemination process .. creating a hybrid between a primitive earthling and a God ... creating the Adamu .. first created to do the heavy labor for the Gods .. slaves of a sort.. .. many moons later these Adamu had multiplied like rabbits .. the Annunaki (Gods) found some of these hybrid females attractive and took them as wives.

Which part of the story did you not understand Brother Mitt .. what part of one must read with a polytheistic perspective .. are you trouble coming to grips with ?

And the bible says that only a male person was created in the image and likeness of the male creator god, and the female person was presumably created in the image and likeness of a goddess such as Yahweh's wife Asherah who was at the meeting of gods and goddesses described in Genesis 1:26-27. Or so the story goes.

    We read in scripture:

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

    Genesis 1:26-27 King James Version

And the story says that the male creator god also created womankind presumably in the image and likeness of a goddess such as Asherah.

That is "Gods" friend .. and there were many Annunaki Goddesses involved .. at least 14 were inseminated with seed of Earth mixed with that of a God. I don't think Asherah was one of the inseminated goddesses .. think she may have been involved in the decision making process among the high Gods .. Enki and Enlil obviously the main characters in that drama.

but presumably these hybrids (Adamu) looked quite similar to the Gods .. some kind of primitive hominid mixed with with the DNA of those who came down from the sky.

    Genesis 6 tells us

When human beings (Adamu) began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.

4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

So those Greek myths we all love so much .. may have a grain of truth after all Mitty :)

Personally I prefer that womankind was created in the image and likeness of Aphrodite and not Asherah who Trump would ignore too.

Who cares what you prefer ? This is not about you friend .. nor your MAGA religious beliefs .. nor your sexual proclivities . whether or not you would choose the male or female prostitutes in the temple of YHWH .. and Image is not the image of one individual .. Doornob .. where is the way out of this maze of mental impropriety.

This is not about YOU .. or your perspective Brother Mitty .. but about the perspective a citizen of Babylon in 2000 BC .. or a Canaanite in Jerusalem in 1000BC..

    U understand ?

IOW the bible is just a book written by men for men about men and their patriarchal society, and their history and laws, and their myths including the god(s) they created in their images and likenesses. Which is why the bible says that only mankind and not womankind were created in the image and likeness of the male god who they created in their images and likenesses.

Sorry mate .. that is not how the story goes .. "Man" is the collective humanity .. in the image of a human "Like US" = human like traits.. man or woman.

That is the story .. its not my story .. and a story not well rendered in some places in the Biblical Text but in "The Story" = the story that everyone knew .. like a bedtime story cept this is the story of the creation of humans .. the "Were did we come from story" .. that every boy and girl knew in 1800 BC in the near east and beyond.

U understand ? .. Not your story ... not "The modern Bible Story" .. but the Story that everyone knew .. on which the short version in the Bible was based. .. the long version of the creation of man story . .which is only briefly referenced in the Bible .. and that is all it needs to be ... because everyone wandering around the fertile crescent knows the long version of the story.. the story of the creation of mankind .. man .. humans or more precisely .. the creation of the Adamu .which is the name of a new Hominid species .. Earthling mixed with the sky people .. not the name of a man .. or an individual ..

Everyone knows what "Like US" means .. "In Our Image" .. US is the Gods .. collectively .. as is "Our" image it is the collective that is being referred to .. not some individual male God .. regardless of anything said anywhere else in the Bible .. "Not the redacted Bible Story" we are interested in.. as that is not what the people believed

Wrong. The creation story in Gen 1 says that only mankind not womankind was created in the image and likeness of the male god. And even though the bloke's penis was probably inadequate, perhaps the god's penis was, and why he wore a pink dress while hugging Asherah or another goddess and groping a little boy.

There is a lot to be desired in your reading comprehension skills. The proper interpretation is what I've already was quoted saying, "Earth indeed floats in space" IOW nothing is holding up earth, because earth is surrounded by empty space and so in this sense earth floats in space.

Ok thanks Mitty for your post.

Doesn't change the fact that the bible describes Earth as a geocentric flat immovable disc with edges and corners, and describes the heavens as a tent attached to edge of the earth. And the bible does not describe Earth as a rotating sphere orbiting the sun.

Do all members of the North Sentinelese ( an uncontacted tribe who lives a hunter / gather existence. and kill all outsiders who land on their island )

All go to Hell? What about other uncontacted Amazonian tribes? Are they all condemned?

I would suggest based on my understanding of the bible, they all go to hell. A strict reading of course says the answer here has to be yes.

    What about the Neanderthals?

The best I can do here is consider that god reserved his judgement until Jesus was born, and basically gave them a one time get out of jail free card.

True but nevertheless what King Solomon described in the verse is the phenomenon that we know of today as the hydrologic cycle or the water cycle in that water changes state. Here I've given an example of a verse in the Bible that is a true statement that we're able formulate a scientific explanation out of it. It was you who suggested just recently that the Bible contains many biblical contradictions and inconsistencies and scientific untruths as shown below in that question you posed but you've never provided any examples of these contradictions, inconsistencies, and scientific untruths.

Again I have given you an example of a verse in the Bible as being true that you can't refute and tell us it is scientific untruth. But anyway below is that quote of yours.

Ok thanks Mitty for your post.

Why do you ask others for that which you have already been given .. that which upon receiving you ran away and hid .. as is the case when tough questions are encountered .. .. such is in keeping with the ways of the forked tongued snake charmers.

What is the command of your God Mitt A) Kill the child for the sin of the idolatrous parents B) Do not kill children for the sin of their parents .. Let each be punished according to his own sin.

And give us the Name of the God who spoke your Chosen command .. so that we may worship and be put right with this God.

Good grief Mitty .. Brother Mitt can not tell us the name or the commands of his God .. never mind know scientific details of creation .. you ask too much.

    So what!!!
People didn't need a verse in a book to tell them that rivers run into the sea, but the sea is never full, and the water returns again to the rivers and flows out again to the sea. Even Blind Freddy could see that, even though the writer of Genesis 7:11 said that the flood waters which drowned most of Noah's family in a river flood came up from below the earth where Sheol is.

Obviously you missed it, here's the clue, "He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land" Now ponder on this statement for a tad and if you're thinking right you should get it but hey if you still insist there is nothing in that about water changing state then I would suggest you take a reading comprehension course and while you're doing that you can also enroll yourself in a basic science class that has in its curriculum the study and understanding of the three states of water.

Ok thanks Mitty for your post.

Alas there's nothing in that about water changing state between ice and water by freezing and thawing, or between water and vapour by evaporation and condensation, but only says that a god magically draws up liquid water from the oceans and pours it onto the land, like someone using a watering can to water their plants.

Now ponder on this statement for a tad and If you still insist it describes the change of state from liquid to gas then I would suggest you take a reading comprehension course and while you're doing that you can also enroll yourself in a basic science class that has in its curriculum the study and understanding of the three states of water.

Perhaps you should take a science class. The hydrological cycle proves that Noahs flood never happened. Science and geology prove the same. And the earth does not hang in space on nothing. It is held in place by the sun and affected by the moon and orbital movements of other planets.
The Bible does indeed describe the earth as a flat disc with a 'tent over it containing the air. This was the idea of the day until the Greeks in the 5th century BCE came up with the idea of the earth as a sphere. Greeks established the earth as a sphere in the 3rd centuryBCE. Ariastotle measured the earths circumference at about 40,000 miles which we know is way out.. Later Eratosthenes (3rd centuryBCE) measured the circumference and was incredibly accurate comparing it with todays modern methods. He was also accurate with the axial tilt of the earth.

Sorry Mitty -- but is you who is wrong -- having not the faintest idea who "US .. or OUR" image is -- the Gods who created the first humans .. as per the general created mythos of the Day .. which was done not by some blokes penis .. but by artificial insemination of 14 Annukaki Females who produced 7 males and 7 females.

Genesis is a very brief summary .. which is later heavily redacted .. but fortunately .. we know from other texts the "Creation of man Story" of every Israelite .. Every Moabite, Every Babylonian, Assyrian , Phonecian and certainly every Canaanite .. of which the Hebrews /Israelites are a branch.

Do you understand that you need not be quoting further from the Bible and the two separate creation stories -- we know the original story.

Doesn't change the fact that the creation story in Genesis 1 doesn't say that womankind was created in image and likeness of the male creator god.
And the second creation story in Genesis 2 doesn't say that a bloke was created in the image and likeness of a god anyway but was only created from dust (Gen 2:7), and that another genetically identical person was cloned from the bloke's rib tissue (Gen 2:21-23), which is why it took them 130 years to first become pregnant since they couldn't work out which was Arthur and which was Martha (Gen 5:1-3).

It says created like "US" and as you were told a number of times now .. is a brief summary of a much more detailed story .. one unencumbered by scribal redaction .. hence why you have two different creation stories .. different authors .. and so on .. but all that matters not Mitty. because we have the whole unredacted detailed long version of the story --- and do not need to refer to any passages in the bible other than to establish that it is following the standard narrative of the Day .. which it is .. as opposed to the narrative that the 21st century monotheist wishes to impose onto the story.

You are simply not understanding the fact that we have the detailed version of the story.. what is the difficulty Friend ?
