I was browsing the job websites and I came across a job listing for Plumb Island, the animal disease research facility off the east coast of Long Island, New York. The job description mentions that all workers must agree to avoid coming into contact with animals for three days after working there. It's their decontamination policy. Three days??? That's all? And your pets at home would count as animals you shouldn't come into contact with.

Boy, I really thought that a disease research facility would have better quarantine controls rather than strolling in and out and now you're a carrier of some hot lab animal disease for three days and then it's "safe."

It's not like we could see a repeat of the COVID-19 lab leak or anything...

    Scary!!
