That one is fake... here's one that's real

Writing down a cue to show empathy.... is there really anything sadder than that??

    His exact quote:

“If I’m victorious on November 3rd, I plan to forgive these taxes and make permanent cuts to the payroll tax,” Trump said at a news conference in Bedminster, N.J. “I’m going to make them all permanent.”

Sorry, guys... even though I'm possibly among the five most right-wing Conservative posters in this Forum, I think that what Trump did with these presidential 'decrees' was TOTAL BULLSHIT! Yes... TOTAL bullshit....

It used to make me madder than holy hell with Obama ruled everything with his dictatorial 'pen-and-phone' for NO GOOD REASON, and I don't like it one damned bit better now that Trump has done it.

Congress needs to go back to work, get its own ass in gear, and pound-out a solution. But Trump? He needs to have a remedial lesson in the wording of the Constitution of the United States!

Yeah, I know... and I voted for Trump in 2016, and will probably be forced to vote for him again this year. But, I'm LIKING it less and less.

LOL... when it comes to education, remedial implies you already have done poorly in that subject before..

No knowledge requires a 101 level beginners class....

"Total Bullshit" is fully acceptable, but you need a true Democrat to come up with the perfect description

    "Unconstitutional Slop"

Thanks for taking the wording of my post and sarcastically taking the opportunity to make fun of it. It's part of what makes you liberals so endlessly lovable.... What Trump did was absolutely WRONG, for a variety of reasons -- and I called it out!

But, sure, by all means, snipe at my description of Trump's 'decrees' being 'total bullshit' instead of the 'unconstitutional slop', which is getting 'press' today. Score one for your side, I guess.... :w00t:

Yeah the payroll TAX, not Social Security Benefits! Did some fake news website try to sell you that pile of crap or did you come up with this all on your own?

What was your novel pandemic savings like this time last year?

As you can see, Trump is doing a whole lot more than hope.

He's providing real relief to real people-who need help now and through no fault of their own.

I didn't major in economics, Zorro, but the way I understand it, PERMANENTLY eliminating payroll taxes would mean complete disaster for the government of the United States -- including Social Security and Medicare! If that is really what Trump said he wanted to do, then believe this -- he will definitely lose the election in November!

No President has that power. This is a 5 month deferral of tax with holdings, which he would forgive, if re-elected, but, he can only do that with enabling legislation. Operationally I see it as a way to put pressure on Democrats to deal. It only applies to those making under $100,000 a year, I suspect most will not take advantage of it, unless they're desperate, because, who wants a big tax bill due in December?

Fantastic news for the Dems! President Biden can now sign an executive order for single payer healthcare when he enters office. I wonder what other pet projects the Dems will have him sign executive orders for?

    Thanks Trump! #maga
