Could there be hidden meaning in the fact that those verses are in Luke 1941 to 1948? Is Messiah the Passover Lamb actually afflicted in all of our afflictions? In my opinion.... the simple reason as to why the ordinary people cannot recognize the times of their visitation..... is because their leaders have somewhat selfish motivations and their leaders become jealous and envious and they attempt to maintain their positions of influence by accusing the major league leaders who HaShem / The G-d of Abraham is raising up for the Jewish people. Did Rabbi and Messiah Yeshua - Jesus predict a time of general Global Warming???????? Luke 23:31 "For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?" The first major fulfillment of this prophecy that was given as a question...... happened during the Roman siege of Jerusalem in seventy C. E. As the Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem and blocked off her supply of food the residents of Jerusalem resorted to drastic measures to attempt to survive. I personally do believe though that although a high percentage of Christians believe that Global Warming is a total myth...... I believe that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus was well aware that the time would come when even the Arctic would see a significant increase in temperatures. Perhaps what we are seeing is a solar cycle..... and perhaps it was predicted by Isaiah. Isaiah 30:26 "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be seven-fold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound." In my opinion.... if Messianic Jews and Christians wanted to actually attempt to obey an admonition from Rabbi and Messiah Yeshua - Jesus they should begin to take Isaiah chapter thirty five LITERALLY!!!!
