Rand Paul Lays Out Evidence For COVID-19 Coming From Wuhan Lab

I always thought it came from the lab, but I was willing to put that debate aside for various reasons, including my willingness to entertain the possibility that it really was natural in origin. But now that the topic has been magically deemed "credible" by all the very "serious" people (who spent the past year claiming it was a "conspiracy theory" and that it was "debunked"), more evidence in favor of the lab leak theory has come to my attention, evidence which Dr. Rand Paul - America's real doctor - summarized on the Senate floor.

Here are the bullet points:

• No known animal reservoir for COVID virus
• COVID virus does not readily infect bats, only humans
• Three people from Wuhan lab went to hospital for "COVID-like symptoms" in Nov. 2019

Obviously, none of those facts, viewed in isolation, prove that it came from the lab. But viewed in their totality, the circumstantial evidence in favor of the lab leak hypothesis seems significantly stronger than the natural origin hypothesis. As always, I am still willing to entertain the possibility that it's natural in origin, unlike the other side who just declared the lab leak hypothesis a "conspiracy theory" or "debunked", but my confidence in the lab leak hypothesis has grown significantly in the past few weeks. Not because the "experts" deemed it so, but because I've spent more time looking into the evidence.

 

I never really put too much care upon it's origins, only that is was used to take advantage of people's irrational fears and inability to grasp thier own security by a government that will take advantage of any "crisis" to strip people of a few more of those rights.

Government is the enemy.

People don't seem to care about these things after the fact so it has little impact. Just look at the Viet Nam war- no one seems to care that the US started it under false pretenses.

 

I think enough people cared to form the antiwar movement which eventually led to end of the war. Obviously, true justice was never served, but at least the slaughter was stopped.

 

The anti-war movement began long before it was revealed the truth in 2011 before the full declassification of the Pentagon Papers.

 

It also could be a survival instinct to speak out against, and demand action against, a group of people who have dangerous viruses in their possession. I'd rather these pompous fools not kill me with one of them. Instinct, not politics.

 

I wonder what mortality rate would make people care? Covid is about .1%. I wonder if they let loose a 25% mortality rate virus, would people care? You think Covid is the only virus they have?

 

Could be the government? Egads, for those of us with conspiratorial and suspicious minds who've been paying attention to what the government does, this is old news indeed. Finally Rand Paul has caught up with what happened. Rand Paul is one of the good guys in the federal government, and there are very few of them.

Let me add some points that are not in the article:

• In January 2018, a U.S. delegation was led by Jamison Fouss, the consul general in Wuhan, and Rick Switzer, the embassy’s counselor of environment, science, technology and health visited the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). Afterwards, the sent to diplomat cables to the US reporting a lack of safety at the lab. That is when the US NIH sent money to the WIV to fund correcting the problem.
• The money was sent without any oversite on how the money was spent, and in spite the fact that the lab used Gain-to-Function procedures. Back in 2014, the US imposed a moratorium on funding labs that use the procedures.
• There is another lab, rated at level 2, also in Wuhan. The Wuhan Center for Disease Control and Prevention lab also tests Animal Coronavirus, and is located right next to the wet market.
• China has worked overtime to hide the facts about the virus' existence. Even threatening to lock up doctors who dared to mention the virus as a epidemic. One of those doctors later died of the virus.

Here is what I think happened:

The WIV never used the money to correct the noted errors in their safety protocols. They probably rerouted the money into their research. As a result, three scientists scientists became infected. As we know, it can take up 14 days before the first symptoms of Covid-19 to show its ugly head. In the time between the scientists becoming infected, and them seeking medical help, they went on with their normal life. Visiting family, eating in restaurants and even visiting friends. The whole time, passing a virus that they did not know they had to others. All it would take is one person infected with Covid-19 visiting the wet market to create a super spreader situation.

It does not matter if the virus escapedn either Wuhan labs, or was intentionally released. It does not matter where the virus was being used as China has said to test the virus in animals, or being designed as a biological weapon. What does matter is that China knew about the lack of safety precautions, and ignored it. Two years before the pandemic, the US Embassy sounded the alarm about the lab. They predicted that the lack of precautions could lead to a Pandemic, and it did. When the cases in Wuhan started mounting, China went in CYA mode. This allowed the epidemic to spread beyond their shores and become a pandemic. The blood of 3.5 million dead is on China's hands. It is long past time to hold them accountable.

 

They also knew that they had a deadly pandemic, and with the help of WHO, lied to the world about person to person transfer as five million people loaded planes from Wuhan, for points throughout the world, seeding a global pandemic. The Lying Outlaw Slavers of Beijing are true garbage people and we should be rapidly disconnecting our economies as long as the current regime is in power.
